If J-man were alive, what would his role be in the current war?

Would he have been fighting alongside the Kage against Madara, they could have use someone with power like J-Man and they probably would have had a better chance of sealing Madara before he wiped them all out or would he have been on the battlefield commanding everyone?

What would his role have been, what do you guys think?

Even if Jiraya would help Kages against Madara they would still get so hardcore raped.

Can only find him as a scout/spy because he was legendary on that if I remember correct.

I could see Jiraiya as one of the squad leaders, probably replacing Darui or Kakashi. Darui is a captain, right? I forget. Anyways, he'd be pretty awesome if he was still alive. Poor J-man

My idea is different. I think Jiraiya would be training with the toads to develop some powerful skills and/or jutus for him and/or Naruto
