Itachi was only cautious because Sasuke is naive. Itachi kept Obito on lock

obito was allowed to run rampant do anything he wanted. according to itachi, any villlage being wiped out is ok so long as its not his own. the epitome of selfish.
itachi and obi needed each other. obi needed him to be a loyal akatsuki and do missions.

Itachi put in the effort to keep Obito away from Sasuke even after his death, and even if that failed, he had a backup plan to KA Sasuke into protecting the village.

wrong. itachi put i no effort to keep anyone away from sasuke. they could have waltzed right in and killed him. easy.
and because his dumbass plan to trick the wolrd into thinking sauskes something hes not failed, he planned to brutally brainwash and enslave sasuke against his will to serve a corrupt government.

or all you know, he wouldn't even have Tosuka or yata since he might have found it due to actions he took but evil Itachi wouldn't make same choices since he's not thinking for others but himself.

evil iyachi would do exacrly what he did given what he did is evil. just because hes not compeltely selfish doesnt mean hes not evil. his plans and methods for controlling and manipulating others for what he thinks is their own good makes him evil.
