The Tsukiyomi was done on 8 year old Sasuke. He wasn't 6 lmao. It was 48 hours not 72 hours. Uchiha get stronger through hatred and Sasuke directed his hatred towards Itachi from that moment on, thus sparing Konoha. He even awakened his sharingan that day. Uchiha massacre was inevitable, years of problems were leading up to it all staring w/ Madara & Tobirama. Itachi saved Konoha whether you like it or not and regardless of whether Itachi killed the clan or not, they were dying either way. Manga fact
Itachi's plan made perfect sense and was executed nearly flawlessly before Obito came into the picture. But Itachi's plan even now still has a chance to work through Nardo's influence.
No Obito and Shisui don't have the best MS. There's no such thing as having the best MS, they have different abilities. Shisui's just had the most potent genjutsu KA
Danzo was Itachi's b**** considering he didn't hurt Sasuke at any point that Itachi was alive and even felt fear upon seeing Itachi in Sasuke's genjutsu or even hearing Itachi's name.
Tsukiyomi wouldn't do jack in the fight against Kabuto considering he sealed off his vision. Itachi didn't forget any of his techs, considering that he wasn't brought back at his fullest as an edo. He was never in possession of Yata Mirror. Kabuto was free to go all out considering Itachi was edo, whereas Itachi couldn't kill Kabuto. Kabuto had literally no disadvantages in that fight and Sasuke was Itachi's burden. Everytime Itachi was in a fix and Sasuke saved him was due to Itachi having to save Sasuke just moments before that. Edos don't have unlimited chakra lmao. Nagato had to suck chakra from Bee and Minato even stated he ran out and couldn't save his son from the tree that was attacking the ninja alliance.

so itachi knew full well what he was doing was creating a second madara and he...does it anyway. yes your right uchiahs get stronger if they hate. they also hate when they hate. and hate leads to vicious acts like murder and destruction. itachi visited destruction on everyone.
the only reason he'd target konoha is if they gave him a reason to or if itachi told him the actual truth. doesnt mean he cant spin another story, one that spares sauske hate towards ANYONE and leaves him free to choose his own path. but itachi cant have that! lets torture the kid into a life of misery hate and suffering! of course! great plan!

and then helped destroy it when he did nothing to even slow down pain and helped him gather the necessary bijuus.
also no he saved nothing because he wasnt ****ing needed. if he did nothing then danzo would have picked up the slack. only difference is sasuke wouldnt get away. but thats totally worth forcing your parents to know it was their son who murdered them and for sasuke to see his beloved brother killing everyone over and over for 24 hours which drives him insane.

danzo had no reason to, till itachi tortured sasuke into madness and forced him to desert the village for power. then danzo concocted a plan, based on his knowledge of oroochimaru, to stop him getting sharingan. itachi could go fuk himself for all he cared.

yes he did. he forgot he could use amaterasu to incapacitate kabuto and then turn it off when hes almost dead.

he was outnumbered, lost his strongest puppets, was distracted by the war outside and swore he wouldnt hurt sasuke, nor did he. he also cant damage itachi too badly or else he cant rewrite him

other way around. sasuke was having to stop his attacks and save itachi whenever itachi got himself slashed up.

first time itachi took a hit
- white rage. he couldnt do shit about it and only resisted because of his immortal ash body
second time
-impaled on rocks. kabuto CLAIMED that itachi got slower due to moving his susano to sasuke but sasuke was never in any danger as kabuto points out. so itachi doing that was his own fukin stipidity and underestimation of his teammate. sasuke is fine. hes reacted to and blocked stronger things.
- the genjutsu. now this i admit is the only time where itachi took a hit AND saved sasuke. but you got the order reversed. he took the hit then freed sasuke after he did, and sasuke saved him too by being there
- fourth time itachi took a hit. he was cut in half, because he stupidly let down his susano while kabuto was villain ranting, allowing for kabuto to blitz him.
and if the argument is that izanami started way before that, then all the hits never took place and thus sasuke was never a "burden"

I always wandered why danzo didn't allow shisui's plan to occur. It was actually a peaceful, foolproof solution to the whole uchiha/konoha mess.(although, I don't the blame the uchiha. Konoha was corrupt under danzo.)

Danzo said that he didn't trust Shisui and was paranoid. Shisui's KA was the only solution to the problem but once it failed due to Danzo's influence the massacre became inevitable. I think that it's both Tobirama's and Madara's fault, the fall-out they had resulted in years of tension. And Danzo's obviously as well as Hiruzen's for being such a push-over. The Uchiha is also at fault though, they should have talked it out with Hiruzen, I doubt he would turn them down if he asked for more political power. Not really possible to blame just one side. I don't blame Shisui and Itachi because by the time the mess came to them, there really wasn't anything that they could do to fix it at that point and the massacre had become inevitable.
