If Itachi or Jiraya was there during the Invasion of the leaf village

If Itachi or Jiraya was present during the invasion of the leaf village do you think Hiruzen would be dead right now? Orochimaru is no match for Itachi, especially since this is before the disease and Itachi is in full health. If Jiraya had Sage Mode and this time he takes it no problem.

Not sure if Jiraiya has any sealing jutsu but he has sage mode. And this is one of those rare scenarios where Itachi Sealing blade would most likely be used.

But Orochimaru admitted he couldn't beat Itachi. He tried to steal bid body and lost to Itachi. Itachi plus Hiruzen would be too much for Orochimaru to handle.

Keep in mind the 1st and 2nd weren't at full power the 1st time they were brought back. Ma and Pa most likely have a sealing tech in their arsenal should Jiraiya go sage mode.

That's nonsense jiraiya was the first person we saw seal Itachi Amaterasu. He had a seal on a paper to stop naruto from transforming. Itachi has totsuka blade already proven to take out an Edo (edo Nagato)

orochimaru's edo tensei was not as advanced as edo tensei is in shippuden, hiruzen held his ground pretty well agaisnt the two even though they should have wrecked him.

Don't forget Orochimaru and Hiruzen was joking and smiling when the barrier went up... Stating it would take some time for the barrier to broken and for help to arrive. Orochimaru and Hiruzen were capable of breaking out the barrier. Not easily but doable. I'm sure Susanoo could have drastically weakened the barrier.

Ah good call! The question is, from what we've seen so far from those two. Do you think Totsuka would work? Hashirama might be caught although it's arguable since he is the beast we've learn him to be. But how does Totsuka catch up to Tobirama's Hirashin?
