8 year old (Whatever his age was during the massacre) using MS techniques? Really .-.
if itachi did not kill the uchiha and stayed at sasuke's side how strong would he be?

itachi did say sasuke could of possibly change their parents mind if he could he would be trained in the four year gap that no one was training him and he was already top of his classWell, this is my theory.
I hope you can follow if I list it up like this... I excuse for my English..
- Uchiha's would be alive and the Population of them is blooming.
- Konohagakure is the strongest village
- There would be no war between sand and Leaf (part 1)
- Orochimaru would grab some random uchiha for his eyes
- Sasuke would never have the Motivation to kill his brother, revenge his brother.
- Sasuke would have not gained the power after beating itachi (amaterasu, Susanoo)
- Sasuke already was at the Age of 8 when that all happened
- Itachi would've been a good Ninja and probably wouldve been healed by Special Heal-nins at konohagakure ( sickness is gone)
- Even tho the uchiha's life peaceful the plot wouldve still begun and Sasukes father would start a war against leaf
- Mostly all Uchiha who were included will die. If itachi helped - he too
- Sasuke would be mad since hes still alone after all, not hating Itachi, but Sarutobi Hiruzen instead.
- Sasuke would end the same way as he is now, but without a power up of orochimaru, itachi and Tobi.( he didnt power up but motivated)
I am not quite sure if that could be possible .. anyway if some of you agree leave a reply

If he didn't kill them, the Root and the rest of the Konoha shinobi would have done the job anyway. They would all be dead.
But ignoring the coup scenario...Itachi would probably be around the same level we saw him and Sasuke would be considerably weaker and not even have MS. Sasuke would be jounin level at this point at best. Also, Sasuke would have still graduated at the same time, his motivation was to kill Itachi which in turn made him want to become as strong as possible. W/o that, he would more than likely still graduate with the others.

To be totally honest, I highly doubt that an 8 year old who probably didn't even know what the word "coup" meant at the time and didn't understand the gravity of the situation would be able to do that. Especially when Shisui, Hiruzen, and Itachi failed to do so. Sasuke cannot even reconcile with Naruto, how would he as an 8 year old be able to change the minds of an entire clan that has been feeling malice towards Konoha since the days of Tobirama's and Madara's fall out? Itachi just felt really regretful and was just thinking about the alternatives after seeing how Sasuke turned out...too bad that they all sucked.

As far as any of us know, most normal Uchiha' can only get that strong through their curse of hatred (please don't say Itachi didn't because in my eyes he hated himself and went through enough pain to get to where he was along with just pure talent). Sasuke might have had pure talent, but that only carried him so far through out the series. At the end of part 1 him and Naruto were basically equal (Maybe Naruto was a bit stronger with the results of the roof fight, only thing they had to go on with their final fight was Naruto's 9 tails chakra leaking and Sasuke's curse mark/ 3 tomoe sharingan). So lets see.. Sasuke would never have gotten the curse mark (if he did, it would be totally under control with Itachi there anyway), his sharingan would only progress as much as he trained, he would be just getting his MS during the war or during the Pein arc where Kakashi temp died. He wouldn't have EMS, unless Itachi died anyway right before the war... but then who would implant the eyes?
Granted he most likely would have graduated sooner at like age 8 or 9 from the academy and wouldn't even be part of team 7 until the wars rolled in. I think he'd be basically like an Uchiha version of Kakashi. Pure talent, hard work, training, mission wh**e to gain experience.
Anyway I'm just rambling now, that's what I think.

Not only that, but Sasuke would have Itachi as a mentor. He would, without a doubt learn some tricks from him and Kakashi on top of that. With Itachi's guidance, he would be way above Heavy Sauce.
He also only needs to witness someone's death to gain MS, and Itachi is going to die because of his sickness, so EMS is available too.
As for the coup and Sasuke stopping it.

the only reason sasukes alive is because of people bailing him out every fight that hes in. not because "zomg hate and revenge is so strong and unbeatable". itachi changed nothing.
and yes he wuld get stronger as fast as long as he has proper motivation. hell the only real example of a ninja who hasnt trained till they drop is shikamaru. now your telling me that if sasuke didnt go batshit hate filled he would sit on his ass all day?

so naruto, sakura, kakashi and all the people not motivated by revenge are just clowning around and playing ninja? they didnt train their asses off? because im pretty fukin sure that sasuke could find some other nicer reason to be "as strong as possible".
what war? there wouldnt be a war. 200 uchihas at most vs tens of thousands?
most of that is inefficient shortcuts.

why would they let an unstable meglomaniac be hokage
wrong. itachi was just being a moron when he thought that sauske would somehow end up being weak without turning into a murderous thug

Itachi would had been dead of AIDS. people can live like 5 years after u get AIDS so no more hokage for Itachi
