You still can't say it as if it were a fact. I agree that it may have something to so with his devil fruit but things have been said that tells you it's his body. Marco, said. Luffy and Zoro said he's a "them". There's also hints with his Jolly Roger and him being some kind of Cerberus.

The way i see their Jolly Roger as Fate. I've read that there Jolly Roger means Fate. If you look back to the Jaya Arc, The BlackBeard Pirates all believe in Fate. Like how the sick looking dude said it was fate that Luffy didnt eat a explosive apple. There are other examples of this.

I always thought that Luffy and Zoro were referring to "them" as not just Teach but as his him and his crew. I cant wait until we learn the truth about Teach.
