If Indra did,... then why didn't Ashura?

How you like my advertising skills? ^

But on a serious note. I just wanted to shine some light on a few things that bugged me.

Firstly during the Madara and Hashirama era we also learn aside from the uchiha and Senju, there is a hagoromo clan.
Before one question leaves to another... Aren't the descendents of Hagoromo the uchiha/senju. But I don't want to ask questions that could only be answered purely on speculations.

I ponder if anyone knows the answer to this question.

Why does Indra solely choose to reincarnate himself with his uchiha bloodline and yet Ashura expresses the freedom to move in his cousin's spirits.

Am i assuming uzumaki come from Hamura whereas it actually is just a branch of senju, not its own family? Like hyuga
(I thought the last movie cleared that up)

Or am I assuming Indra has never lived on as a hyuga?

Is that why..
When we learn of the origin of Black Zetsu we learn that he has been around for countless generations attempting to revive his mother kaguya with Indra's Descendent as uchiha, The only one capable of unlocking the Rinnegan. He states that before madara none was strong enough.

Indra / uchiha are very proud of their lineage, they wouldn't dirty themselves with the blood of a different clan even if it did have the potential to use the sharingan, even tho other clans can use it reasonably well considering kakashi can us it. However ashura / senju / uzumaki are all honourable full of life and easy going which is one of the defining characteristics of Naruto and ashura, this isn't to say that ashura would or wouldn't transmigrate into another clan other than the ones in the manga who knows before hashirama or Naruto ashura could have transmigrated into the nara clan for all we know. Lets face it tho the bloodlines of the senju and uzumaki are all watered down anyways and while being powerful are still not as powerful as they would have been in the past when ashura and indra were running around.

Mainly due to their beliefs. Indra believed in power so he reincarnates into those who uniquely gifted and come from the genius clan he started. Ashura was the underdog believer so he would reincarnate into people who work hard and had to unite with others to become strong. Although Hashirama doesn't really fit that bill based on his backstory and clan background.
