Keep Caesar as ransom and tell Kaido if he wants more SMILE he needs to war with Big Mom.

Fight Kaido when ready.


However, knowing Luffy, and guessing at Kaido's personality this plan will break down at atleast 1 of the two stages.
1) Luffy opts to fight Kaido straight away and loses (but is spared by Kaido in someway or another).
2) Kaido doesn't care about SMILE and wars with everyone anyway.

I'd have Caesar spill out details of that Oars giantification that made Kaidou so big(he is an artificial experiment). Maybe Law can remove those giantification drugs when Kaidou gets weak enough.

I'm hoping Luffy takes Dressrosa to heart. Even he should acknowledge how difficult his battle with Doffy was and with Doffy being worried over him, Luffy may just buy into whatever other plan Law has. I imagine he'd still want to take down Kaidou's power little by little just as he eliminated the smile from him so taking out his crew one by one isn't far-fetched.

Though I think Kaidou is gonna start a war with everyone and make it happen. Luffy will get an opportunity then or maybe someone else...
