He didn't have to tank them cause he was too fast for them. Naruto may have been avoiding him but he was quick enough to get out of range of the explosions quickly despite being so high up initially to when Naruto began tossing the RS's.

i agree with this. sasuke soosano is so quick that it can manouvre out of the blast radius. besides he was kinda unffected by the radius so in a way thats tanking but i may be wrong

Sasuke fans should be happy enough that Naruto needed Sasuke's susanoo to not be affected by Madara's infinite genjutsu.
