[Discussion] If Hypothetically In A Future Arc ...

I know this wont happen, but imagine that it did: Lets say Luffy and the crew were captured by the Marines and Luffy was to be executed same as Ace. We know what happened when Ace was in that position but what would happen if hypothetically Luffy would some time in the future be in that position?

Depends on how many more allies he has made by that point. Based on who we know about now though, Dragon, Shanks, possibly Law and all of their crews. The Whitebeard Pirates may come as well considering how much of a liking Whitebeard took to Luffy just before he died.

I just imagined the possibility of that happening, Dragon and Boa Hancock, Jimbei, Rayleigh, all these other guys, all just standing there... looking so awesome against Aokiji, Akainu, the other admirals and vice admirals and the shichibukai... the awesomeness... :scorps: and Luffy being all teary, thinking that all his friends came to help him. I just imagined that, thanks, I never considered the possibility and now that I have I have to say it is amazing to imagine!

OT: Luffy has a lot of friends, and if Dragon intervenes as well as Shanks, and Boa - a shichibukai, not to mention Jimbei and all the other powerful allies, the Marines will be most likely done for.

If that ever happens, it would be the same as Whitebeard War arc. In Luffy's scenario, Shanks and his crew would replace Whitebead's, Dragon and his crew, Boa and Jimbei would replace the allied forces. I dont think Rayleigh or Law would come (they are strong but not stupid to be a part of this turmoil).

Further, it surprises me as to why people call Gorosei or Kong stronger than the fleet admiral or admirals. If they were so strong, why did they not come to the Whitebeard's war when the whole marine entity was at stake?
