My reasoning for the title of this thread is in AC1 they learned from the weaknesses and improved on the mechanics. Which made AC2 the greatest Assassin's creed game ever made. AC3 changed everything but has gotten a lot of mixed reviews. The thing that saved AC3 from becoming an all out disappointment was the naval combat and of course AC4 will be full of that. The main protagonist has a personality and we are going to experience a time that most of us aren't fond of.
My Worries
-For the game to be more piratey than assassin like.
- looking for too many materials for unlockables in a vast world, to keep track of what you have and what you need. If it's a sword you want to unlock. it's not worth it. If you are spending 20 hours searching the whole map for what you need.
-the underwater gameplay maybe is a must but I don't think it's necessary but let's see where it goes...
-Will the core memory be long enough, will there be many targets, will the story be exciting? I'm totally in the dark on this.
-Will the combat be difficult and not smooth? (I personally like combat in AC2 much better. It felt much smoother and was more fun, and what fun is it taking down 7 enemies without a challenge?
