Even if they used her for fan-service she won't be better than Sakura, admittedly they both can't do the job, there shouldn't have been a main heroine in the first place, at least it would remove the amount of parallels
Lee is a ugly woman.1st ) This Will not end well
2nd ) She would be helluva worse
3rd ) Lee would be the best heroine
A) There will always be a person who will take a character and degrade them to one or two traits and treat them bad no matter the amount of development they've gotten. This is precisely what you are doing with Hinata and orihime. Both characters are more than you're making it seem like they are.Basically, Hinata is just like Orihime from Bleach. Put "Naruto-kun" instead of "Kurosaki-kun" in her mouth, dye her hair black, and there you go - this is your Hinata. I dont think that character with her personality is suited to be the main heroine.
I kinda agree with this. Seems like Hinata has more imperfect traits (no offense CC) to exploit than Sakura did. There's also the factor of Hinata being below her sister at first and becoming a worthy heir to the Hyuga clan, since she comes from the main branch.I don't have a problem with Sakura being heroine, even tho she isn't that great at playing her part. I just think kishi could have developed Hinata easier as a main character than he did with Sakura
i agree with crystal in everything.A) There will always be a person who will take a character and degrade them to one or two traits and treat them bad no matter the amount of development they've gotten. B)Neither are main characters; had they been so, they obviously would have had their personalities built upon more than currently
C) Hinata' current personality is actually very fit for a heroine role
I'm not offended, I actually agree, with Hinata, she had a lot of imperfections that could have been easy for kishi to develop as a MC. But what does Sakura have? Her forehead and being useless to her team? Not impressive for a main character, while Hinata has the whole dynamic with her role as heir to her clan, as well as her stressed relationship with her family, and her lack of self conference. It also would have been easier for him to give Hinata realistic OP power UPS than to sakura, since she would be from the hyuga. ...I kinda agree with this. To put it simply, I think Hinata has more potential to be a better MC than Sakura IMO. But the story pretty much belongs to Naruto and Sasuke. So in the end, it would hardly change the story.
I just dont see how they could be main heroines. Granted, Sakura is not develped enough to call her good main heroine, but considering Hinatas personality, I dont see how she would do any better in that position.A) There will always be a person who will take a character and degrade them to one or two traits and treat them bad no matter the amount of development they've gotten. How can you assume kishi could easily develop her as a main character?Kishimoto wanted Sakura to be different. He wanted her to seem like a normal person.I'm not offended, I actually agree, with Hinata, she had a lot of imperfections that could have been easy for kishi to develop as a MC. people saying Hinata is better than Sakura isn't hate necessarily... Like myself.sakura is much better than hinata. i always felt this sakura hate has been taken too far. in pt 2 shes done her fair share of useful deeds so i think people should just give it a rest.
- healed hinata during pains invasion and one shotted a summoning
- kept narutos heart pumping long enough to take him to minato
- destroyed countless juubi clones and summoned katsuyu to heal countless soldiers
- noticed who the zetsu spy was who had infiltrated sa camp
- played a huge, huge role in sasori's defeat
- saved kankuros life and came up with the remedy
her personality actually would've helped it make things easier. Its always easier to develop characters with many flaws than those with few (Sakura has two only, and one of them doesn't even count really)I just dont see how they could be main heroines. Yeah that's exactly what I'm getting at. The useless aspect would probably end up applying to Hinata as well, thanks to the difference in strength between Naruto, Sasuke and Hinata. And I agree on the dynamics, and that's without considering the "relationship" b/t her and Naruto or the growing bond b/t her and Neji. Power ups definitely could be more reasonably distributed to her b/c of her background but that's not to say Sakura's power up isn't reasonable.I'm not offended, I actually agree, with Hinata, she had a lot of imperfections that could have been easy for kishi to develop as a MC. Kishimoto wanting Sakura to be normal is honestly one of the biggest flaws he's made in Naruto. The point of a main character is that they're not normal; that they're special, hence why they become the main characters.... Hinata is more special than sakura, she isn't normal, that is why I think she would be a better heroine. Sakura is literally plain with no special power and no special clan, no special story, no background, not even any canon parents, or any real issues aside from love and being useful, very lacklusterHow can you assume kishi could easily develop her as a main character?Kishimoto wanted Sakura to be different. He wanted her to seem like a normal person.
I dont think so. Kishi could easily develop Sakura further if he wanted to.her personality actually would've helped it make things easier. Its always easier to develop characters with many flaws than those with few (Sakura has two only, and one of them doesn't even count really)
