It would probably pan out the same way... I think Hinata might be more relevant only so Kishi could fiddle with the pairing card but that's about it.

wouldn't make a difference really. Sasuke and Naruto are the main lead and the story revolves the most out of them, Hinata would be getting the same treatment as Sakura.

Well since Hinata likes Naruto, not sure how the whole "I promise to bring Sasuke" thing back would play out. It has the potential to change the story though.

Sakura is better...Hinata is way too shy (people just overhype her on the base, not to say I don't like her though).
Hinata isn't shy.

OT: I do think she would have been. Her similarities with both Naruto and sasuke would have helped to deepen her bound with the two than it did with Sakura, who has no similarities with the two.

Kishi could have also had more room to give Hinata power UPS, with the Byakugan and all

I love if hinata will be the heroine. First, she the one that confess her feeling to naruto with no other intention like sakura did. Beside she compliment naruto personality which is outspoken. But still, the rest leave it to Kishi.

Hinata would have honestly had a pretty good friendship with sasuke had she been the heroine.

Both have a sibling superior than them as kids.
Both wanted their father's acknowledgment.
Both felt unwanted.
Both are introverts.

And it wouldn't be hard for kishi to think of power UPS for her, since she has a dojutsu... Unlie Sakura, where lishinseems like he doesn't even know what kind of power up he wants to give her.

I could definitely see the Naruto series reaching a better end.

Sasuke or Naruto would be dead in part 1.. o_O just saying.

Team 7 = elite team of their age group, all the best 3 of that age group are in team 7 . taking one out is just degrading it, and which then won't be good.

Idk why people b*tch and moan about the whole sasuke thing.. its actually pretty nice to avoid the typical cliche.. and have a reasonable woman who does love a criminal or someone who is against the good guy.. but supports the good guy himself. And will willing kill her love for the main character..

So no Hinata won't be a better heroine.

I don't have a problem with Sakura being heroine, even tho she isn't that great at playing her part. I just think kishi could have developed Hinata easier as a main character than he did with Sakura

Basically, Hinata is just like Orihime from Bleach. Put "Naruto-kun" instead of "Kurosaki-kun" in her mouth, dye her hair black, and there you go - this is your Hinata. I dont think that character with her personality is suited to be the main heroine.
