You're a bit redundant sir at bold. "If the universe began as a singularity (which I'll clarify in a little while), then it's subject to the physics of quantum mechanics. In quantum mechanics, the time/energy uncertainty principal allows for small fluctuations in the energy of a quantum mechanical system for an extremely short amount of time, so it seemingly "breaks" the law of conservation of energy. This is what allows for nuclear decay to happen, and it plays a crucial role in quantum tunnelling, which is what makes the transistors in your computer work.

Also, empty space isn't "nothing" since there's underlying energy in empty space.

The classical big bang theory only explains how the universe used to be very small, but the singularity of the big bang is an extension of the classical big bang theory that delves further back to the beginning of the universe (even though this "beginning" might not actually be the very beginning). This isn't a complete hypothesis because there's no complete theory of quantum gravity yet in physics, but it's perfectly consistent with the laws of physics to say that the universe can come from nothing. In fact, the energy required to create a universe from "nothing" is extremely small, or zero if there are certain symmetries of energy in the universe.

Although I should mention that the universe coming from a quantum fluctuation is only a hypothesis, it doesn't have any experimental evidence yet. Don't confuse the big bang theory with this hypothesis."

Also, the rest of your question is a non sequitur. Even if the universe was a caused by something "supernatural" (which there's no evidence for), it doesn't necessarily have to be omnipotent, omniscient, etc. It just has to be able to create a universe, that's all.
Wow I don't understand what you just said. Sounds like a bunch of garbage and bs to me. You call me out for being a believer. You say there's no possible way for there to be one God who created all life yet you believe an explosion created all life. Let me see how much faith it really takes for you.

You believe that an explosion created all life that we know today. Out of this explosion everything came to be. However, tell me an explosion that you have actually seen and have evidence and scientifical proof which you have actually observed. Tell me an explosion that I can refer to that has happened in the past 1000 years which has not caused destruction. You believe that out of destruction came something perfect and working in a perfect cycle and order? Well, that's impossible. Destruction only leads to more destruction. As the Newton's Law says an object in motion tends to stay in motion unless acted upon by an outside force. So something that is destructive will continue to be destructive. Where has it ever been observed that peace and order comes from destruction? I would love to see that.

You call me an idiot for believing what I cannot see. However, you expect me to believe that destruction creates life. That sir is impossible. Who really needs a lot of faith to believe in what they believe? I know what I believe sir and I am entitled to believe it. You cannot disprove God more than I can prove him. Like this thread. Our fight is only bringing more and more destruction until it will be acted upon by an outside force. So who really needs a lot of faith? I'm tired of arguing and I'm tired of your insults.

Also, let's say you're right and there is no afterlife/heaven. Then we have nothing to lose because we both die just as you say. Let's say I'm right and there is a heaven. Well then, you have everything to lose. The odds are stacked against you. Either way I don't lose. But then again you're entitled to your beliefs and I'm entitled to mine. Good day to you sir.

Is that all that you can say? I'm still entitled to my opinion but I thank you for the debate. That was a very intense brain workout for me and it really got me thinking. However, I will unfortunately have to deny your invitation to me to log out seeing as how I have the right not to do so if I please. Thank you and have a good day and God Bless

I really try to stay neutral in religious affairs such as this, but trying to convince someone who has undying faith in Christ to believe that everything they've been told their entire Christian life has been a lie is slim at best. Christian, Buddhist, Muslim, Hindu, Atheist, Agnostic, it doesn't matter. What matters is being able to respect someone's opinion as long as it holds merit.

Dat proof tho? Where's it at?
Where's your proof for any deity's existence? You can't prove nor disprove that which doesn't even exist pal. But believing it does equal a delusion.
Atheists are very illogical individuals, They only lie to them selves so that they can sin and not think twice about it. They want to have *** freely, lie to help them in life and so on. I think deep down they know God exists but can't get them selves to come to terms as they don't want to give up sin. I pray for their souls

The very contrary. The atheists I know are some of the best people there are. Also it's proven by psychologists that religious people in fact sin more often than atheists. When Christians were asked how many times they do masturbate in a week, most of them denied that they even do. Later turned out that all of them do, but as not to reveal themselves as sinners (because masturbation is sinful to them for some silly reason) they actually sinned twice by lying about it.

Also last time I checked, it is religious people wearing shirts with words wishing homosexual people death and so. That's so "unsinful" of them, truly.
