If Guy/Lee knew few Ninjutsus!

Im not criticizing but I know they are very strong Ninjas who just uses taijutsu, but dont you think they would've been even stronger if they had few ninjutsus up their sleeve like:
Shadow Clones / Substitution jutsus or few offensive jutsu.
If u can give them any Jutsus to help with their Taijutsu what might it be?

then what is afternoon tiger. I mean if you see the tiger isnt that ninjutsu. I know they cant use it but I just thinks that if you can see a tiger then that should be nijutsu on some level

gai knows ninjutsu... the summoning jutsu for a start, he just uses taijutsu more because he is more proficient at it

Lee can't use Ninjutsu and Gai doesn't use much Ninjutsu. As stated above, his only use of ninjutsu is the summoning technique for his tortoise. Hirudora (afternoon tiger) is a Taijutsu that compresses the air, not a ninjutsu. I think Gai chooses not to use ninjutsu to encourage Lee, but I'm not sure.
