Jesus was God in human form. By making him human, he was still divine.

So basically his power remains intact, and it did as when they killed Jesus, he came back to life in a short time. And since God is omnipotent, omniscient and omnibenevolent, you wouldn't be killing God, he'd blink and you're completely erased.
