Do you think gai would've died during the pain attack by using 8 gate? Or would he have defeated pain using 7.i just watched the pain vs Naruto fight again and forgot that gai wasn't there. I think him and his squad would've made a huge difference (Neji and Lee)

And Gai still can't do anything against Chibaku Tensei.

Yeah they would have been massively helpful imo. Gai 7 gates, Lee 6 gates and Neji would have been awesome. And if he really needed too he could have gone 8 gates and wrecked shit up too ;P

I'm sure that Eight Gates Guy is capable of resisting the pull of Chibaku Tensei. He
can literally propel himself by kicking the air. CT isn't pulling him in ever.

I think he went 6 and 7 gates the two times he fought Kisame in part 2 and that definetely would take Pain out.

7 gates are enough to push a high diff .8 gates are juubi jin tier, an overkill.
