If Gaara was still evil do you think he would make a better villian than Sasuke?

He already was a better villain than Sasuke.

Naw Gaara didn't really have a goal or objective towards his intentions of being evil.

Exactly so that means he was just crazy which are the best types of villains just look at Vaas from Far Cry 3. During the chuunin exams he was just straight murdering people ah the good ole days

Yes, if he were still a jinchuuriki. Opposite ideals compared tp Naruto even though they grew up in similar positions. Both son of kages, both hated by the villagers but they went their own ways. And Gaara was badass. Killed as a 12 year old because he didn't like how someone looked at him. Sasuke isn't a true villain anyways.

No, the idea of a greater villain isn't being just a twisted or crazy person, but also having goals towards the actions/intentions you're doing..Sasuke had that, while Gaara simply didn't.....

Sensui Shinobu from Yu Yu Hakusho is a great example of this...this is way he's easily in the top 5 of Anime's greatest Villains.

Definitely. Sasuke just come across as either whiny, or horribly stupid in passing judgement. He should have remained like he was up until the Itachi pursuit arc.

But you could connect better with Garra. His past does seem like a legitamate cause to go crazy. With Sasuke, his actions seem unwarranted and not within his character.

That's not hard to do :p.

Gaara part I is the villain this series has been missing...namely...an enemy that is evil for the sake of being evil.

Sasuke is someone driving souly on avenging his clan and honestly he's just jumping without question on whatever new information floats his way without question.

Gaara's goal was to find him true self by killing people

A true villian doesnt change just he heard a story
Sasuke is all talk
Gaara proved

Gaara would be a better one

He would be a more interesting villain; but his time as a villain wasn't suppose to be drawn out. He did a great job as a villain of course. But, a long time villain doesn't suit the type of . . Antagonist he was and the conditions he was in.

We'd be hearing how Gaara is a cry baby because Daddy didn't hug him as a child, if he were still evil.

He absolutely did, Slaughter everyone so he could be left alone. Part 1 Gaara hated people and just wanted them gone, not only was he bat*** crazy he was evil on top of it
