If dosu LIVED up into shippuden he would be so EPIC and OP! Sound genjutsu are the strongest in the series and guess what his specialty is? This dude flicks his arm and makes you go deaf! He can touch you and distort the balancing waxes and fluids in your ears effectively DISABLING you from fighting because you won't even be able to stand. Him and zaki all grown up would be team solo! But not kin though she was a crappy version of tenten and even more useless than part 1 sakura.

i was so hyped up back in the day to see his fight against gaara.i was thinking to myself:damn this fight will be a hard one.

i was pretty disappointed when gaara killed him in an instant XD but oh well that made me become that much more hyped up about gaara Lol

The only reason he got killed by Gaara in an instant was because Gaara used Desert Coffin and Desert Graveyard. This kills anyone, even Madara would have been killed by this if he was not ET, and if he was not that OP, because he would probably use his rinnengan or Sharingan to reduce the damage somehow. Anyway, Dosu had no way to reduce the damage, so he got 1 shotted. POW.
