If Deidara and Orochimaru had a fight?

Remember Deidara was pissed cuz he wanted to deal with Orochimaru himself and realised Sasuke did it before he could, and it was the reason why he intended to make Sasuke pay for that. So actually imagine if Deidara had encountered Orochimaru and they had a fight. Who do you think would have won? :shrug:

It's a tough call and although Orochimaru is my favorite character I don't see him seeing through the C4 Karura and ends up getting taken out by that. Even Orochimaru can't survive that.

diedara is bomb for sure lol and oro is bad ass to but i say diedara and that is cuz oro is a badd ass yes but his c4 ....oro does not have sharingan and if he didnt know what was up he would def breath it all in and game over c4 is probably the deadliest jutsu in the series for anone without sharingan like if he set that off in the way he would kill everyone in range no matter how many there was

C4 would be the finishing blow (pun intended), but Deidara may not live long enough to get that far. Orochimaru has data on every Akatsuki member, so he knows what Deidara can do. Deidara probably doesn't know what Orochimaru can do.
He'd probably "kill" Orochimaru and let his guard down, then Orochimaru can regenerate and launch Sword of Kusanagi at him.
But yeah, if Deidara can get C4 out, Orochimaru loses.

Hmm. I must've forgotten about the C4/Itachi thing. If Orochimaru doesn't know about it then that would give Deidara an obvious advantage. Orochimaru wouldn't realize he has such a deadly Jutsu in his arsenal.
But still, Orochimaru is such a researcher that he might know even then. No way to say for sure.

Yeah I just rewatched the Sasuke vs Deidara fight and it didn't take much for him to unveil the C4 Karura. But in any case Orochimaru could just do what Sasuke did and hide in one of his snakes then reverse summon. I hadn't thought about that. And actually I just thought about Oro's counter to Deidara's strongest techniques, Attack Prevention Mode. So maybe Oro could take this. Though I'm not sure how well Attack Prevention would work if Deidara self destructed.

Maybe but he still lack of knowledge so he won't be able to see there are microbombs in the area, so don't know why he will try to defend himself against something he doesn't notice. Also don't forget the fact that Sasuke could not have come back from this dimension if Suigetsu didn't summoned him back
