If Boruto can learn Chidori...

If what we saw Boruto using in the trailer was in fact Chidori and not a Lightning Based Rasengan, doesn't this mean Boruto clearly has some sort of Eye Power within himself? I believe he will awaken the Tenseigan, it would be a great power for him.

Boruto is not getting any eye power because he has the Sage's body. Also Kishi forgot to give him Byakugan so how is he going to get the Tensengan without the Byakugan. Even Toneri needed Hanabi's Byakugan to awaken it at first.

According to the world of Kishi genes and traits can be divided perfectly into two. There is no co-dominance of alleles and one child is essentially a clone of one parent (like Boruto to Naruto and Himawari to Hinata)

I hate this logic so much but just gotta go with it.

So Himawari is likely to get hte Byakugan cos Boruto cant cos thts how genetics work in Kishi world

Using chidori doesn't necessarily mean he has to have a doujutsu.

But I'm still not dismissing the possibility of him awakening some kind of a doujutsu since Kaguya had a byakugan and gave birth to two sons with different doujutsus. Also, Kakashi said there's a possibility of the sharingan being a mutation of the Byakugan.

One needs the byakugan to unlock the tenseigan. Even with that. The Otsutsuki line is still needed. It's not enough to be a hyuuga.

you dont need an eye power to use chidori.....if you dont mind not seeing thru your blindspots for counterattacks.

Whole reason why kakashi needed it was partly due to his footspeed. When moving that fast, counterattacks are impossible to see without sharingan. If bolt is moving slower or devised another way to see or predict the counterattack, then sharingan is not needed

How is he gonna get Tenseigan if he don't even have a Byakugan to evolve into it.

This is Correct except part in bold. eye power (sharingan) simply compensates for the tunnel vision you get while using chidori. But other than that. Spot on dude

Kishi will probably write around him not having the Byakugan by probably at least having some of the Byakugan's visual prowess like naturally seeing great distances and not having to worry about the tunnel vision effect from chidori. Or maybe Baruto is a prodigy and figures out a way to use Chidori without the side effect?

So many possibilities here.
