If Boruto and Sarada had a child would the child be called a Uchiha?

Question: If 20-30 years passed and Boruto and Sarada had a child, would the child's last name be Uchiha?​

Since Boruto has some Hyuga dojutsu and Sarada has the Sharingan I am going to assume that the child would have one eye with the sharingan and the other like his fathers (based on the Kishi interview of a Hyuuga/Uchiha child having one eye as a byakugan and the other as the sharingan.)

But the more important part of this matter is that will the kid carry the Uchiha name, the Uzumaki name or have a new name all together?


A) The child being called a Uzumaki would be stretching it since Boruto is 25% Uzumaki so his kid would be even less

• (12.5%) Uzumaki, while being:
• (12.5%) Namikaze,
• (25%) Uchiha,
• (25%) Hyuga,
• (25%) Haruno

The Child would be more suited being called a Haruno then a Uzumaki.



B)The Uchiha is dead with Sarada as the sole heir for its future existence...

Sasuke will eventually die


C)The Child will just take his/her Father's last name like everyone else.

if Kabuto lets them to run wild and marry spouses will the child have a sharingan? and if so will the child have a different MS then their father since unlike the Uchiha the Shins are clones.
