If Attack on Titan were Real

What would you do?

Would you join the Garrison regiment, Survey corps, or Military police?

To be honest I would probably go with Garrison cuz it's like a go between from a irrational decision(survey corps)
and a real ***** move(Military police).

And also i probably might not last that long :|

Depends on how well I turn out with the 3DMG. If I'm good, I'd join the Survey Corps. If bad, the Garrison probably. Never the MP.

Nobody would last long. It would bring man-kind together though. When people share a common enemy they seem to come together, and create alliances. It could be a good thing, or a bad thing. I'm not sure who I'd join though. I'd like to believe I'm tough and make the decision to join survey corps, but if I had a family and people to look after I'd probably join none of them, and try to make a living some other way, or possibly the military police.

EDIT: I know saying that I'd join the MP's is a b!tch move, but when you've got a family to look after, your mindset changes dramatically.

Thanks man. I hope you're not being sarcastic though. Once you have children I'm sure the way a you look at things changes. You no longer have your self to look after, but others as well. It would be a hard decision, if real life were like that.

It's easy to act tough, but it's a whole other thing actually being tough. That much is true. Anybody can act tough, but few can actually say they are, when it comes down to actually standing up for oneself. People will always put their life, and their health ahead of most things. It's only natural to want to live on, or avoid unnecessary conflicts. It's only in times of extreme stress when somebody can show what they're really capable of. Kind of like when somebodies backed into a corner, or their life is on the line.

EDIT: It's called flight, or fight when your adrenaline kicks in. Most can't handle the fight, so they choose flight. This has been shown many times in "Attack on Titan", it's only natural for somebody to be scared when their life is on the line. Unless you're in the military and have been indoctrinated onto believing that your life is less, or just as valuable as the guy that is fighting alongside you.

To be honest nothing is safe, titans eat titans, the walls are made of titans, titans eat human's, then you got the different type's of titans !! Colossal,metal,monkey's,independents.
Nahh I'm cool I'd just be a fodder and live a quiet life and hope nothing happens while me or my love one's are alive. But then I'd be living in fear all my life.
I don't want to see my friend's pointlessly die all the time or see them being eatin time after time .... it would wreck me dude.

Well if titans just showed up out of the blue, I think that with the technology we have now, there wouldn't be too much of a problem. If we only had the tech that have in "attack on titan" though, we'd be screwed.

I won't piss my pants... if I where to come face to face with a titan and I'd have to distract it or sacrifice myself for my family or friends, I'm absolutely doing it.
Plus you seem like you would take the front line maybe ? If so good luck with that cause in real life it'd be 110x worst for us then simple anime characters.
We'd have to figure out to cut the nape of there neck to kill them cause there healing powers render guns useless, it would take time to build weapons specifically for them, so many will die in the process.
Then we'd have to worry about the human traitors that can turn into titans
Nothing is pretty about that world.
So instead of fighting titans and dying young, I'd live quietly and protect those important to me. If that means I'm a p***y, so be it.
