Why would he let his friends and family affiliate themselves with him then. His crew mates are the most important thing he have but even if they have had kids they will leave the island and never see them again

Why would they still be wanted after they defeat the corrupt govt? Dragon wants to overthrow the govt do you think he's gonna storm the sunny and kill his (hypothetical) grandchild

So far The SHs have done absolutely nothing that is unpardonable so if they play a part in the forming of a new better govt why would they still be in the position they are now?
