Why didn't Sasuke use it to kill Kakashi?

He had it in him to try and kill Sakura with chidori when they were at short range from each other

Instead of using an Amaterasu, he used an entire Susanoo and then fired a Susanoo arrow at him.

He could have used amaterasu on Kabuto, and then blaze release to prevent death by it, but he instead used.....

So what's the deal?? Amaterasu is a projectile, not a space time Katon, it is not instant, Susanoo arrow is Sasuke's fastest projectile Ninjutsu.

Amuturatsu is almost as fast as you can see. what are u saying this 4? 1st u go 2 susanoo arrow being the fastest (Naruto bijuu mode is faster ) then to him not using amaturatsu on kakashi. sometimes u use ur full potential when u r fully prepared and
sometimes u can't when u r goofing around or not full prepared .

only answer........plot no jutsu, kishi is the one controlling character techniques so its not a matter of if sasuke didnt then he couldnt but it is maybe kishi wants sasuke to use other variety of techqs.

And sasuke deep down loved team 7.

IMO amaterasu is not instantaneous and actually travels from the eye of the user to the focal point of wherever the user is looking. It is just so fast that not many people are able to dodge it in time in close range. In mid-long range, however, if the person can sense the air pressure and are fast enough to react to it, then they could avoid the flames.

yup i agree, moreover it was kishi's fault. He never wanted kakashi to die so early since he had plans for him like helping naruto fight tobi... I'll also like to point out the fact that Amaterasu doesn't travel plz read the manga before making baseless assumptions that it's a "projectile".

Susanoo takes more chakra than amaterasu, it needs both eyes.

Also he didn't use amaterasu on Kabuto, he was not half blind then.

Amaterasu isn't instantaneous it shoots the black flames at whatever you look at... itachi missed many times before hitting sasuke when sasuke dodged them... so Amaterasu can't be instantaneous because if it was as soon as itachi would have looked at sasuke it would have hit him... however I still think it is as fast other fire shooting techniques
