No matter what, Internet research can't compare to the real thing. It's completely different than say having hands on experience.

Sure some may band together, but just watching movies and doing research isn't gonna help anything, It won't change the fact that they will die.

Naturally; but it helps. It gives everyone ever more of a fighting chance. And, with enough people and trial and error, success is bound to happen. As for the latter half.. Well, naturally some will die. But I doubt it's the extent you put. If anything, it'll be due to a lack of resources or eating something bad.

It's most likely that if the entirty of Narutobase were to be on the island, nearly all of us would realize that we need to stay together to live. Multiplying success but at the same time making feeding everyone that much more of a challenge.

People will die, yeah. But much more slower and to a lesser extent then what I imagine you predict.
