All he needed was the hyped up claim from Hitsugaya that 10 Vasto Lordes could potentially destroy the Soul Society. Had all the Espada been actual Vasto Lordes it would have been game over for the SS. But if not the case then Aizen could develop a drug. Since being a scientist like Mayuri and Kisuke that could force a 2nd Resurrection likes Ulquiorra had done similar to what Kisuke did with ichigo for his false bankai. So to sum it all up Aizen should have been more patient if he truly wanted to win not just against SS but this also may have been his key to victory for if the Quincies decided to come fight as well after SS would have lost and been taken over.

He didn't know that Segunda Etapa existed, so your point is null. The Espada was designed to be a distraction at the very least, and it was. He managed to eliminate most of the Gotei 13 and get them out of his way. The reason he failed was due to his arrogance, nothing more. It wasn't a matter of patience.

He did actually go to the human world, the Gotei 13 constructed a Fake Karakura Town and placed it there. The real one was moved into Soul Society, which is where all the humans were. Hence the name, "Fake Karakura Town Arc".
