Realistically what would you do?
I actually thought of my exact strategy after watching walking dead lol xd
I would first gather my family, and try to get in touch with my best friend
We would wear heavy clothing or cover ourselves with some sort of material that is hard to bite/scratch through
then I would use my swords and knives with my dad and best friend to clear out the zombies in my neighborhood(I live in a very circle like area so it should be easy)
After that's done, we would go around our neighbors houses killing the zombies and saving the possible neighors.....the houses in our neighborhood all have the same similar layout, so it should be easy.
After saving neighbors, we would ask them to either help out or wait in our main house
Each day we would clear out more and more houses until the immediate area is secure and create a gate around it.
We would secure the local food stores(which are 10min away on foot) and gas station(5min) so we can travel longer distances for supplies.
We would then eventually try find more survivors and welcome them to our secure neighborhood and let them live in the cleared houses.
