I don't care if your heterosexual, gay, bisexual, transsexual etc what ever you chose to do is up to you , but lying about your gender isn't cool a specialty if it's someone who's really interested in you.

You have full grounds to be annoyed.

BUT and keyword is but, you can feel betrayed without being actively transphobic. And that's how you should deal with it also, be mad because they lied about themselves and keep your masculinity/values out of it.

I do think a trans person should tell their partner about their history at an early stage, knowing it matters to another person and still keeping it a secret at a risk that when he/she finds out it will cause them emotional pain, is dishonesty and insensitive.

You think lying about who you are in a relationship is ok but being disgusted when you find out is not? Straight people will be repulsed by that shit, why don't you suck it up? ****ing hypocrite.

Be careful you're exhibiting transphobia

Gee, it's not as if transexuals have any reason to lie about themselves or are taught to be ashamed of themselves due to society huh

Like I said before, you can be disgusted by it. You can be upset you were lied to. Fair enough, that's on you. But there's nothing you can do about it if it happens. You can cut them out of your life, but you have no right to harm them, nor is there any legal action you have the right to take. Be as upset as you want to be, just know the only thing to do at this point is live with what happened if it bothers you. Because at the end of the day, that's all it really does. You won't be injured, or traumatized, or suffer any serious impediments in your life, so live on and deal with it.

Should a transsexual tell their partner they're transsexual? Yes. The right time to do that depends on the people in the relationship, but it's definitely something that should, at some point, be revealed. At that point, the couple will deal with it however they deal with it.

The transsexual should tell the other person from the start. How do you know I wasn't harmed? What if I got std from this man-*****? I for sure wouldn't consent if I was aware of their true identity. I got basically raped and caught a disease as a result of it.

Even though I refer to him as Hellen Keller and we share very limited views, he's kinda right. Would you beat a woman if she had a std and didn't tell you?

I would do something, that's for sure. She's not getting away unscathed. Just because there is no law regarding such things doesn't mean it's ok. Laws are made by government who're always corrupt mother****ers.

That's simply how you want it to be for your personal life.

Are you trying to imply that you couldn't get an STD from a cis woman you chose to have *** with? You can get an STD from anyone, regardless of they're a transsexual or a cis-gendered person. If they told you the truth about being a transsexual, the STD wouldn't disappear, nor would that prevent it from being transmitted. Same if they were cis. Them being a transsexual has no relation to you contracting an STD from them, so "What if they gave me an STD" is irrelevant to the discussion.

I for sure wouldn't consent if I was aware of their true identity. I got basically raped and caught a disease as a result of it.
That's not rape because your ability to give consent was not reduced. It's only rape if you were unable to give consent, or if an act you did not give consent to was performed.

If you met up with a transsexual woman and gave her consent without knowing she's a tranny, then I'm afraid that's not rape.

I would do something, that's for sure. She's not getting away unscathed. Just because there is no law regarding such things doesn't mean it's ok. Laws are made by government who're always corrupt mother****ers.

You can sue a person for giving you an STD without telling you they had an STD, you moron.

well if it wasn't obvious in anyway and there's a completely successful surgery, i'm not sure i'd care so much. in fact there are some things i'd appreciate about that. such as no period, and can't get pregnant.

but anyway, everyone is entitled to go at their own pace. I feel like they should come out relatively early in a relationship but it's forgivable not to come out with it from the start. For example, i have a friend that has HIV.. but she doesn't advertise that immediately or she'd never date. She lets a reasonable amount of time to pass and allows them to start to get to know her a bit before they are instantly turned off and scared away.

The question was would you inflict physical harm

You go breaking those laws you anime-loving internet forum bad boy. See how far you get with those views, you live in a thing called society and it'll break you.

If I knew the person was a transsexual I wouldn't get std from them because I'd never consent to having ***. It would change everything so **** off.

Them having an STD is completely independent from them being transsexual...

Just had a thought. It's still completely unfair to not tell your potential long term partner that you're trans from the get go despite societies general reaction because if they can't accept you for you or love you so much they wouldn't care. Well then they're not the right one for you are they?

One night stands however are a different story as both can enjoy themselves and walk away. What you don't know can't hurt you, eh? But yeah, that's a little more acceptable. If you're going to emotionally invest in someone. You gotta pick the right candidate, otherwise it's your loss. Now it's not a totally fair loss for the trans person as they can't choose how they're born but then again. Nobody can. That's life.

Not in this situation, them not telling your their identity is the same as a woman not telling you she has std.
The question was would you inflict physical harm
Not necessary.

I wouldn't be anymore of a criminal than she is. Justice system exists so people don't seek out their own. If they did society would collapse. However, failing to put a law in place regarding this means society has failed me already.
