If a random person out of nowhere tells you in your face that ''anime are for kids'', they clearly haven't watch anime at all.

If you had the opportunity to change his or her point of view towards the anime overall, which anime would you suggest to the random person?

I wouldn't recommend anything honestly, It would be truly annoying to explain why it isn't for kids....

But If go by your scenario I guess would recommend HXH or baccano!

Kara no Kyoukai. Mainly because said person would be too simple-minded to grasp the topics it presents and it would be obvious which audience should be watching due to the atmosphere of the show alone.

I would obviously ignore the simple-minded scrub. But, for your scenario, obviously get them to watch something brutal, I think "Another" would be a good way to accomplish this, in 13 eps too. :bdpf:

I haven't watch HxH yet, is it that dark?

I'm planning on watching it, i hope the anime/movie it's movie.

Attack on Titan, its pretty graphic.

Also the anime in which your avy is from
Its gruesome
You bet? If they watch higurashi, they're going to either quit the anime and have some nightmares or change their point of view of anime as a whole.

Read my edited post.
Gotchu.

Death Note
Good choice, a very dark anime.

That would scare them for life, no umbrellas near them for a while :bdpf:

It would have to be a relatively short anime, so no Monster or HxH or anything like that.

If you're looking for an anime for them to actually enjoy while getting the whole "anime isn't just for kids" message across, then I'd say Death Note works perfectly.

But, if you're trying to show them an anime that will immediately tell them that anime isn't only for kids, then Elfen Lied and Deadman Wonderland are good. Heck, Elfen Lied opens up with a naked lady cutting people's heads off and cutting people in half. And DW opens up with a kid's whole class getting murdered in front of him. So...
