I don't think it's a bad thing if either one becomes a medical nin kabuto was a good medical nin fighter so I don't think it matters

it matters for Orochi

he wanted Mitsuki to find himself and make friends but in that book that he gave him he literally told him to accompany Boruto as his companion

If Orochi didn't care then he would've said "go to Konoha, befriend anyone I don't care" but he didn't

If he wanted him to be a medical nin without learning from him then he would've said go to Kabuto or go to Tsunade but he didn't.

Clearly Orochi wants Boruto to find himself but under a guided path that Orochi himself set up.
