My dad said the same, it's nearly impossible to do that much damage with what he had.

I heard it wasn't really an AR-15 though. It was a Sig Sauer MCX carbine (whatever that is), and the Police chief only described it looking like an AR-15. I don't think the source is really credible though.

News stated he used a SIG Sauer MCX semi-automatic rifle and a Glock 17 semi-automatic pistol, which are self-loading, single round firearms. It is fed with a magazine. Even though they are single shot per trigger, between the two of them you can get a lot of rounds off, especially if no one is shooting back at you or defending themselves.
