We all saw a young Obito who was full of love for his village getting crushed by those falling boulders, who also managed to transfer his eyes to Kakashi. So how did such a person become so vengeful all of a sudden?
There was zero benefits for Obito to give Kakashi his eyes if he want to carry out the Moon Eye Plan from the start. I am left to believe the good Obito died and his body could be taken over by someone else - Uchiha Izuna - via Reanimation Tech.
Lets flashback to the battle of the Senju and Uchiha. I believe that when Izuna died, Tobirama still believe he could stop the hatred of Madara by summoning Izuna via Edo Tensei to try convince Madara to stop the war. But alas, the Edo Tensei of Izuna (with MS), like Edo Madara, are able to break free from the Edo Tensei Contract.
As a Edo Summon, Izuna can stay alive all these years and pick the right moment to carry out his plan. He needed a perfect Uchiha body and thats where the brothers of Obito and Shisui comes into play.
That explains why he wanted to take Danzo's sharingan. He could have given himself the EMS (Obito and Shisui could be blood brother) if he succeeded.
When i think of more, i will make changed here. BRB.
adding onto my theory:
After Madara died with his Rinnegan acivated, Edo Izuna extracted it and kept it. He wanted to use the Rinnegan to resurrect Madara but he couldnt do it by himself - he is edo and he didnt have Senju DNA.
Then he waited and picked a suitable candidate - Uzumaki Nagato (Senju distant relative). But of course it didnt work. Nagato used his eyes to revive everyone in Konoha (instead of Madara).
When i think of more, i will add on. BRB.
3rd add on:
To prove Obito is not Obito... think of the voice they had when they were young and now.
young naruto and older naruto - same voice
young sasuke and older sasuke - same voice
young kakashi and older kakashi - same voice
young obito and older obito - different voice (why???????)
Only explanation i can think of - Uchiha Izuna's voice. Think about Orochimaru. When he took over someone's body, the body can be a female but he still retain his own voice.
Nice?
