I am currently working on a story on another fanfiction site(I don't know if I allowed to link other websites so I won't just incase ^-^). It's about an OC I have created that grows up during the Anko/Hayate/Yugao/Other people generation. I find it pretty interesting just because nothing is known about them(besides Anko) of their past. It gives me total freedom, mostly expect time limit when Kurama attacks the village starting canon.

Anywho, the story will include a Chunin Exams. Since Anko's generation was around the age of 10/12 when the war had ended. Thus became the first "international" exams. I just can't think of any original ideas for the exams. All I know is I want them to either be held in The Leaf or the Cloud Village. Any Ideas?

You could hold the tournament on a neutral ground, instead of one of the villages. Since they've just came out of a war, they start taking steps towards a more pacific relationship, but still not so much as trusting their young shinobis in one single village. So they meet on a land neutral to everyone.

But in that land, some refugees hid on the testing grounds, so, when the chuunin go there, they are met with the refugees. So they'd have to surpass them to stay alive.
