I'd rather be trained by Naruto than Sasuke.

I would personally rather be trained by Oro (made Sasuke Kage level in two years, can teach me snake summons) or Hiruzen (knowledge on all five elements mas a bunchload of jutsu)

Sasuke got that good mostly on his own not through oro. I mean oro didn't even know sasuke had chidori sharp spear Lol. It is clear oro barely taught him anything, just as jiraya barely taught naruto anything.

Tsunade is the best sanin when it comes to teaching

Hiruzen is the ideal sensei, since he did produce The Sannin who went onto to be very powerful.

Who then produced Team 7.

Well ofcourse. I'd choose Hiruzen over everyone but I'm only talking about Naruto and Sasuke here.

Er, well sort of. That is a reason why Kakashi only trained Sasuke, because both him and Sasuke were alike in the categories of elemental nature. It probably had to do with him being a Genius/Prodigy-esque type, and his personality but I'm not going to look that deep into it.

Naruto is suited for some types of training, but I don't like it when people complain of versaility only because Naruto has signature techniques that he relies on. Naruto is too versatile, but he just does not work on the elemental natures that he has. In fact he never had the choice. He only learned FRS through Kakashi's method, and after that Sage Mode.

When would he have had time to learn new techniques between the Pain Arc and the War? Aside my final result is that both of them are highly skilled. I believe that Sasuke is training Boruto becaue he too is talented, and a Prodigy. Maybe it has to do with the elemental nature connection (Hinata's natures are the same as Sasuke - Fire/Lightning which funny enough was confirmed towards the end of the Manga). So I don't see any reason for Boruto to not be trained by Sasuke.

I would rather have Sasuke though because he needs to put Boruto in his place.

Actually he did have time...3 years to be exact..

Most of naruto's moves require ginormous chakra reserves, not everyone has that either

No he can teach them the moves such as Rasengan, clones ect, it's just up to them if they can do it on the scale Naruto can.

Ot: good thread, good thread plus Naruto crack jokes and just seems more relaxed sensei. Sasuke seem too up tight, like if I fu*k up during training he'd make you sleep outside for a month or some shit.

Minato is the best, he's responsible for team 7's existence and Obito, and Hashi is responsible for Hiruzen and Jiraiya's

Naruto learned about Elemental natures when he was 16. So there was no *3 years*

That's my point, what the heck was he doing the years before that besides shadow clone ? You might say he controlled 2T Kurama but I don't believe it, he would have used it beforehand if that were the case.

He had the opportunity to see if he had any other affinities or chakra chains or Uzumaki jutsu he could learn..

Hiruzen is the best trainer but I wouldnt mind naruto being my trainer either. Naruto breaks down concepts into very basic easily understandable ideas. So, he would make learning etremely hard jutsu into easy everyday ideas.

Yea but oro still spent most of his time with Sasuke basically prepping his body for the takeover. Sasuke was his test subject pretty much, oro substituted his training with drugs

No. Naruto was clearly behind everyone else when it came to basics of what made a shinobi. The only place where Naruto had advantages in were skill, and experience. To match that he also had powerful techniques under his boot which made up for the lack of shinobi tactics and basic fundamentals that he did not have.

Note that Naruto did not even know how to break out of a Genjutsu, while everyone else in his classroom (Sakura as my example since she broke out of a Genjutsu for him during the Sand Arc) knew how. Jiraiya had to teach him. The only thing that Jiraiya taught him where the basics, and they brushed up on what he already had so that he could improve later.

Notice how Sasuke was already ahead of Naruto in that sense, so what did he do during his training arc/time-skip? Trained on what he knew and cultivated new techniques and abilities. Which is why during the actual series, did Sasuke learn new abilities from training? No, everything from MS/EMS/Rinnegan were handed out and learned passively without the need to actually sit down and train for it.

While Naruto who finally reached a certain level, learned techniques throughout the series such as; Fuuton: Rasenshuriken, and Sage Mode.

What's naruto going to teach you, how to spam? The only things he really learned how to do were things that took no effort or things he could learn just by spamming because of his high charka. I doubt he can make a rasengan without clones to this day. Sasuke could teach you things if you share the same nature or combat tactics period. Only thing worthwhile naruto could teach is talk-no-jutsu...I mean the story doesn't show him using any type of skill. Just spam clones, rasengan or random power up that is borderline godly

Yeah, drugs. He didn't teach him much. Oro only wanted sasuke's body to be strong he never wanted him to be too good.

You clearly haven't read the manga properly

If that's the war arch, then you are right. I stopped paying attention once madara started playing dodge ball with meteors and I really stopped caring when madara got the boot and kaguya spawned...

it was never confirmed whether sasuke took drugs ir not, only mere assumptions that he did. and oro didnt substitute anything, he did train him the normal way.

OT. sure, i disagree tho.

Prodigies train Prodigies.

Failures train Failures.

I rest my case.
