The Icy Floes is the northern body of water that connects to the Shallows and considered part of the Western Ocean. They are characterized by the frigid waters and floes of ice that drift ghostly across the surface of the water. Temperatures quickly rise as one moves west or southward.​

As the trio reached the edge of the known world, in the distance they all could spy the island ahead of them. This new land was where they were headed, but thanks to the co-ordinates provided by Lucifer from Madara, they also had a specific landing to get to.
