[Discussion] ichigo's twin blades

from the latest chapter, we can conclude that Ichigo is the only 'shinigami' in the whole of bleach to ever have a twin blade zanpaktou...
Ukitake's own was after he released them (shikai)
Shunsui's 2nd blade was nana's own...
that just places Ichigo on a whole new level!!!
cant wait to see he's shikai and bankai forms... they'll be freaking out of this world!

what do we think would be Ichigo's remark when he wants to release his sword?

Technically he's still cheating. One of the swords is from his Quincy powers so it's not really a Zanpakuto.

Also, that is most likely his Shikai. The only time we've seen him with a sealed sword was when he was "Fighting" Urahara to unlock Shikai.

And Zangetsu's release command is "Overcompensate! Zangetsu!"

Both swords are zampakuto, the bigger sword represents his hollow power when combined together they form his shinigami power

Basically having the swords is the shinigami power, the short sword contains quincy power, while the larger sword is hollow power. This is why zangetsu is both the hollow and the yhwach look alike

cause the form he forged Ichigos blade into hasnt changed at all... and like he said all blades start as asauchi, then by growth and all that stuff a shinigaami is able to gain shikai form.... then bankai

Ichigo never uses his sealed sword after getting shikai, so its pretty safe to assume that this is his shikai.

although it makes sense, given that the zanpakuto of an arrancar/zero divison person can be pretty much anything but a normal sword, i guess ichigo could have whatever weapon he wants instead of a plain sword.

ummmmm....I don't think you quite understood the last chapter if you believe Shunsui doesn't have two blades of his own, from which he wields in both its sealed and unsealed Shikai.

The young spirit of his Zanpakuto might not have been orginally "there", but you can certainly believe he's always had two blades. This is shown from Nanao pulling out her inherited Zanpakuto from within the young spirit. It's an entirely different weapon/entity from Shunsui's two blades.

Now, the only question that has yet to be clarified, is whether or not the young spirit created from Shunsui's original Zanpakuto will remain with Shunsui, or go with Nanao--to which I believe it will stay with Shunsui.
