In relation to the last chapter, it was said that ichigo could accomplish a journey of i week in 1/2 day, compared to normal shunpo ( kubo made every shunpo as fast as how powerful you are, and yet he tells us that there is a normal shunpo ), anyways, that means ichigo is 14 times faster than normal shunpo , thats really fast, it looked like supersonic when he zoomed off
EDIT : should we compare normal shunpo to byakuya's, aizen , soifon and her master ( forgot her name ) or to the like's of rukia, kira, renji ,etc

you do know Ichigo just jumped down the middle of the spiral right? He wasn't running down the steps in the last chapter. Granted he did say he'd make the week trip in half a day but after hearing the fight had started 3 hours ago he forwent any running and jumped straight down. You can see on page 10(depending on your source site) that he jumps in panel 2 then in panel 3 he's shown falling down at a great rate with the spiral staircase around him showing he is in the center of it.
