[Discussion] Ichigo's new zanpakuto

Now that Ichigo's zanapkuto has been reforged, what do you think the bankai and shikai will be like? Will they retain their similar properties, or will they have new powers. I also found a nice picture of Ichigo having a fused zanpakuto, where he has fused his two shikai blades.

I would assume his sword would have the same powers and techniques but more powerful.Even if Ichigo earlier Zanpukto was fake and being held back by his quincey blood, he's still Isshin's son and didn't the captain of one of the soul king squads say he's a true shinigami after he received his new zanpukto?If that is the case, his technique shouldn't change much from what they were previously seeing as his shinigami powers are derived from Isshin;And even the name of his zanpukto is a similar to Isshin, Engetsu and Zangetsu.The way Ichigo uses his zanpukto is a copy of Isshin's, Getsuga Tensho being Isshin ability which Ichigo learned on his own.

I was thinking something very similar, I think he is still a Quincy but the Quincy manifestation can no longer substitute his powers in and hold back Ichigo's anymore. Thanks for the input anyway.

I think Ichigo's dual zanpakto may eventually connect together like a cross and resemble
a hybrid of Shingami and Quincy power. I also wonder about Shiro because it was his awesome power
in which Aizen gave to Ichigo via his hollow creation. I once believed his hollow self was gone but maybe
he mastered Shiro's power now and if that is true maybe his ultimate attack could contain portions of all three powers,

Whatever it is, I think it will be pretty awesome.

I think what we've seen of them so far is his Shikai form and we have yet to see the Bankai form. I think that one of the blade reflects his Quincy powers while the other reflects his Shinigami powers. While his body reflects the Hollow powers sealed within him.

Yeah, the smaller blade represents his Quincy powers and the larger one his hollow/shinigami powers.

i actually kind of like that pic but, he will have more shikai abilities. getsuga is probably like an ability that is just like something simple that maybe is inherit in as usually you don't normally have two zan with the same abilities as everybody has different personalities. he will probably start using the abilities that were hidden away with the rest of his power. as for what his bankai will be, well we can't even guess that till we see what his shikai abilities are.

its a bow imo he's part hollow quincy and soul reaper can you imagine if he can harness all this power with a quincy bow. thats enough power to level soul society.

That makes sense, but just look at what happened with renji. His sword change drastically, and it wasn't trying to hold him back. Given that it wasn't helping him as much as it could have but still, a lot could happen with ichigo and zangetsu.

I like the ideas of the blades merging .. but NOT as a bow. that'd suck. i'm hoping he mastered the quincy's blut abilities up there and thats about it. don't like the idea of a bow wielding quincy ichigo at all. do wanna see how his hollow manifests itself now that its actually his primary source of power.

He is a pure Shinigami now, so now that his inner Quincy manifestation is gone, nothing is restraining his Shinigami powers and I also believe that he cannot utilize Quincy abilities anymore.

Yes, he still retains Quincy blood, but usage of Quincy abilities cannot be done and what I meant by "pure shinigami" is that his Quincy powers cannot suppress or otherwise interfere with his power and abilities as a Shinigami.

yes, i agree. what zangetsu said was that he'd stop suppressing ichigo's inner shinigami/hollow powers so that he can access them. he still has his quincy abilities, he's still part quincy. he's a "true" shinigami now because he can access his true shinigami powers. he has a blade representing his quincy abilities so i'm more than sure they're still around.
