[Discussion] Ichigo's dual Zanpakuto

Is Ichigo's dual Zanpakuto that he's recently been using his asauchi (sealed) form or his shikai? I don't remember it saying or implying in the manga that the dual black blades that Ichigo has recently been wielding is his shikai. The reason why I ask is that the manga stated that the asauchi was specially made for Ichigo. The reason being that it was made specially to represent his hollow, or because his hollow and Shinigami powers merged so the asauchi was made specially or something along those lines. I can't remember exactly what Oetsu said to Ichigo, but I remember him saying something about him making the asauchi differently or especially for him. So that made me wonder if the form that Ichigo's Zanpakuto is currently in is his shikai or not. Also, Ichigo's new uniform has a special sheath, with the X shaped straps and shoulder guard, for both the short and long sword. I want to know and discuss what you think about what I posted above. Thanks.

Isshin can use Getsuga Tensho with his asauchi, so I didn't think that would be a reason for stating Ichigo's Zanpakuto is in shikai. Oetsu also said that Ichigo's Zanpakuto is unique or different from other Shinigami Zanpakuto, because of his hollow mixing with his Shinigami powers. I'm not saying that Ichigo's Zanpakuto is not in shikai. There hasn't been anything said or implied in the manga, to my knowledge, to say that it's in either shikai or asauchi (sealed) form.

Ichigo's Zanpakuto is a permanent Shikai Zanpakuto, meaning it can never revert to it's sealed form, it always remains in the Shikai state. The reason why permanent Shikai Zanpakuto exist is because the Reiatsu of the user is so huge that the sword must always remain in Shikai, or the amount can be handled and the user only possesses poor Reiryoku or Reiatsu control.

doesn't ichigo have a continuous release zan? its always in shikai. he has too much reiatsu.
