i dont understand why ichigo's bankai not strong, like rest of the captains, when he fights espada he goes into bankai right away, dont u think that makes Zangetsu weak? and espada pushes him in his bankai form, remember when he 1st time turned into bankai he was so cool and was pushing byakuya, i just want to know why its weak now. You know, i think you're a hundred percent right about your theory. I'm watching Bleach since episode 8 and when Ichigo fought Byakuga and he had Bankai, his speed was tremendous. Also i noticed that Ichigo works a lot harder, when he fights to protect someone he's (almost) unbeatable. I think the Bankai of Ichigo at the moment is just a joke. It used to be the fastest of all Zanpakutou, but when he fights someone, the opponent is faster than him. But you said that Captain's defeat Espada always in Shikai form, but no Espada yet (only Grimmjow) showed the true form of himself.
But i fully agree with you, bankai really looks weak, even weaker than most captain's shikai form.

its becoz he didn;t get proper training for it U_U he still needs experience .. plus he has to supress his hollow form too .. that might be causing the flauctuaion or its just KUBO is cracked xd

i think that the wrighters are balancing the characters like that.. cause ichigo got alot of other strong ability's like hes hollow form and stuff..
for example: kenpachi got no bankai but he still killed a strong espada.
Ichigo's shikai form, unleashes imense riatsu, and bankai compresses all that riatsu, so his bankai would probably be better if used sooner.
Increasing riatsu does increses ones abilities, but ichigo's bankai makes use of the compressed form, by increasing speed, strength, durability and lastly defenses. This is shown by the different blades in both shikai and bankai, The body long wide blade Zangetsu shows immensly spread riatsu that even burns the air around it, which is taken in by the blade and then upon a swing it amplifyes all the riatsu and shape it in a strike known as getsuga tenshou(Moons fang).Bankai when activated releases all raitsu suddenly then absorbs it, which then shapes his own appearance, the compressed riatsu gives ichigo a solid base increasing his speed & strength to the top most lvls, In his bankai form ichigo's shunpo or plain movement is comparable to Yoroichi's shunpo, and getsuga tenshou as black getsuga at a much powerful state,
Ichigo's and Kensei's zanpakutohs are perhaps the best suited for a hollow tranformation,
Ichigo's Vizard form takes Ichigo to a much more greater lvl., Normal shinigami uses there own riatsu to use techniques and stuff where as hollow absorb the surrounding the riatsu in the atmostphere, thus 2 power sources for ichigo, now u can guess how will it effect ichigo in bankai all the riatsu he releases absorbed back and compressed for usage. and being vizard is like being in cammand of some1 elses body, now this massively increases ones durability and life force. Kensei's wind type zanpakutou and his killing strength in vizard form together with telekensis makes kensei virtually the strongest.

Its because Kubo is all over the place with power levels. One second Ichigo is strong enough to fight on equal footing with Kenpachi, then hes strong enough to defeat Byakuya, then hes too weak to fight Ulqui, then hes ten times stronger than Ulqui, then Kenpachi is strong enough to defeat Nnoitra, and so on. Its a whole big mess IMO.
Kenpachi barely beat Nnoitra, while after fighting getting killed by Ulquirra, Revived by Orohime, Fighting Grimmjow, Partially fighting Nnoitra, Fighting Ulquirra, Dying(again), Defeating Ulquirra, Then proceeds to fight Yammy.

Its hard to say Kenpachi "barely beat" Nnoitra as he wasn't fighting with his full strength for most of the fight. He wanted to drag out the fight and have fun. When he realized that he may actually die if he kept prolonging the fight, he resorted to using Kendo in which he ended the fight in one blow.
