[Discussion] Ichigo's Bankai sucks, even more than you think.

Even if it hadn't been Yhwach fighting, that would have been a fairly boring Bankai. It's just a massive sword. That's closer to his old Shikai than what you would expect from his Bankai. The dual wielding probably would have made a better Bankai, as long as he got to use it properly, rather than get one shotted by every quincy he met.

Granted, Kubo only designed the thing so Ichigo could get owned, but still.

It doesn't look like it changed to me. It has the same patterns and is still shredded. I'm surprised too because his outfit always changed when in bankai, so maybe kubo forgot or maybe there is some significance to his new power or maybe ichigo didn't use bankai or something.

yeah, I noticed that it didn't change. I have a feeling that isn't his true or mastered bankai or maybe Yhwach broke it before he could truly complete it.

I was hoping that when Ichigo finally released his bankai that he would transform into something similar to Mugetsu, but it was interrupted so we don't truly know yet, but given how his sword was the main instrument for his new bankai, I doubt it.

At this point, I only care for his hollow powers and his possible future quincy techniques. I've seen his bankai too many times and it always ends up with some boring Getsuga or powered up Getsuga.

Ah yes, Volstandig and Ressurection. I've mentioned why it's impossible for him to have them on other threads allready. Do you really think that if he were to suddenly bust out both of them, and go Gear 4th, Super Saiyan, and Rikudo Sage Mode just to be sure, that he wouldn't still be curbstomped with minimal effort by Yhwach?

The only form that wouldn't do absolutely nothing against him is Mugetsu, and I seriously doubt he still has that.

I can see Kubo pulling off something with Old man zangetsu. Like maybe OMZ gives him his ultimate potential or something of the sort(i.e. access to mugetsu or he suddenly masters or learns a new ability).

If you think Ichigo isn't going to have another form, then you haven't been reading Bleach. He gets a new form almost every other chapter.

Then you clearly aren't reading bleach either. If Ichigo goes Bankai, and still gets the sh*t kicked out of him, then he's going to lose this fight. Even if he does have a new form, it won't make a scrap of difference against Yhwach.

Haschwalth hasn't been defeated. This can't be the final battle. Aizen gave him a curbstomping before their final battle, while his white haired definately not a traitor minion wasn't dead, only for Isshin to step in, save the day, and then give Ichigo some BS new power. And Kubo is very predictable like that.
