When ywah or whatever his name is told ichigo that he has obtained his original power
is he referring to the power he was using against Aizen? And on another note, if it's not, do you think they can compare or is the aizen powerup still his strongest form?

His power can still be felt, Yhwach made a point of saying that, and Byakuya mentioned it too. Therefore, he's still not reached the arbitrary level at which power levels can no longer be felt. Maybe in Bankai he'll get that strong.

If Ichigo's power can still be felt, then i'm assuming that he's still weaker than Dangai Ichigo.


But remember, regardless of how strong his Bankai is, if he doesn't need a bullsh*t training arc, Then Askin is officially better than Yhwach.

Loose translations aside, that means Candice Catnipp was able to not die instantly against someone as strong as Dangai Ichigo.

The wording could easily just refer to regaining his shinigami power.

If Yhwach loses this fight without Ichigo having any major powerups that aren't allready available to him (Bankai), then Askin is better than him, because he allready defeated the same Ichigo offscreen. Bankai means nothing if you're allready down.

This is a larger version, but it doesn't say anything about killing the soul king giving him a Powerup. Then again, it's a different translation so chances are you're just going to pretend it means nothing.

At best, that's still just an informed ability, since he hasn't demonstrated any kind of power increase since then, and beyond that quote there's nothing to suggest he got anything.

"Informed Ability" refers to a trait that a character is claimed to have, that they never display. In this case, Ichigo is claimed to be stronger after cutting the soul king, but he has yet to demonstrate that power. In other words, Prime Hiruzen.
Also, you're forgetting his ultimate ability: TWO GETSUGA TENSHO'S AT THE SAME TIME!

Its talking about his powers in general. Ichigo has the power he was always meant to have. All times before were just mixed up and forced on his part because he never knew his zanpaktos true identity


Ywach wants ichigos power. He isnt giving away anymore power to ichigo, even as Soul King
