What surprised me was the leader of the quincy calling Ichigo son, i always from the beginning had some weird feeling that Ichigo's mother had some relation to the quincy, why, i cannot tell you lol, but Bleach is getting interesting again!

More like 1/4 quincy. You know he's human, quincy, shinigami, hollow. Or 1/3 if you count human and quincy as one Enough rambling, I can't wait for the next chapter too. Bleach is getting more awesome

Ichigo isnt 1/4 quincy, he is not a hollow either. His hollow powers were made from his shinigami powers and it returned back when he used final getsuga. Thats why he fought aizen without hollow powers since it synced with his shinigami powers. So far we know that his spiritual energy had realised quincy powers. Do you remember back in the beginning when he got stabbed by a shinigami sword? A shinigami is born from the soul society. It cannot be given to someone else did you know that? Everyone in soul society believe that he holds rukia's power but they were shocked when he used bankai cause a borrowed power cannot awaken a bankai because its not his powers.

Just like that now his quincy power has awakened he is 1/2 shinigami and 1/2 quincy. His mother would either be a quincy or a shinigami and juhabach might just be his father. Think about ichigo's final getsuga which is used when he fully connects with his sword have you noticed his hairstyle? it resembles juhabach and also have you noticed old zangetsu also resembles juhabacha? Thats just my theory but it could be the other way around and isshin could still be his father.

Aizen could never become a quincy thats why he couldnt beat ichigo who was a hybrid. Ichigo is the most power being because he is more powerful than quincy and shinigami. It was the huge secret and people ignored the signs from the beginning. If you don't believe me watch the episodes when Uryu fights his own father you will notice that he regains his power when his dads shoots the arrow at him. The arrows is pierced through him similar to ichigo. The whole idea is aizen was testing ichigo to see if he could become a shinigami because "Offspring of both shinigami and_________"

Yeah I think she is alive as well...it's just there's to little info on her, though I wonder who Ichigo would side with Quincies and his mother or the Shinigami and Rukia. certainly going to get interesting.

Ok slight Clarification to percentages of Race/Culture of Ichigo. (i know you all are actually summing up the powers he has, just figured id help correct the mathematics a bit... I see a bunch of people, though how little it really matters argue over how one can be "half" of 3 or 4 things at once. Wait that makes 2???!! lol)

Hollow and Fullbring is not an actual race, culture, breed, etc. Hollow and Fullbring are results of conversion of Human, Shinigami and Quincy, which are the 3 only races of being in Ichigo's case. He was not born a Hollow so he doesn't have Hollow Genetics, he developed it when his Chain of life was severed from his chest gaining his OWN Shinigami powers.

-1 - Hollow's are what everything that isnt Ascended turns into. Hollows do not Breed, but instead devour, merge and kill one another.

+/-1 - Fullbring is a power ability, those who have stronger than normal reiatsu's than a normal human can gain inner abilities. (This is a Power nothing more)

+1 - Quincy is a Race of Beings that were once members of soul society. Its like Democrats and Republicans, or Catholics and Jewish Folk. they live in the same house, but have different points of views on the same beliefs. They do have their own powers.

+1 - Shinigami are the the ones with the strong reiatsu of all members of the Soul Society.

As of this point with what seems to be happening, Ichigo is no longer considered Human at all. He is HALF Shinigami and Quincy as far as Race goes. As for his powers, they just stack up, on top of what he already has. Half Shinigami and Quincy powers to start. Gaining and losing his Fullbring Powers (really didn't do anything for him anyways), and Gaining his Hollow Abilities which is actually a booster if you think about it. So his overall power is 150% or 3 powers to his 2 race backgrounds.

So yeah Hi guys I haven't posted in forever but thought I should intrude a little... look what i posted in 2008 lol:

As you all know ichigo is a shinigami representative who naturally has abnormal strength and rietsu for a mere human, but is it just me or does anyone else think there is more to him than meets the eye? This was just a random thought but as i watched the anime and read the manga i realised that there was something going on behind the scenes. In the begining of the espada story we saw ichigo's dad wearing a shinigami outfit a cape similar to that of a captain, he was obiously rediculously strong and he said his powers we'rnt fully recovered yet. however, the real mystery is behind his mother, my theory is that ichigo's mother was apart of the royal family while his father was apart of a special squad assigned to protect the realm in which they live. I know this may seem a bit OTT but if people thought ishda was the last surviving quincy then how would you explain his father still being alive and well and also seemingly had history with ichigo's dad. This isnt any normal coincidence. Anyway, being in this position ichigo's dad fell in love with his mother and this would have been forbidden because of nobility laws, they then made the choice to flee to earth and use special substitute bodies made by kisuke that masks their rietsu completely making them untrackable. So i think that ichigo and his siblings are all technically related to the royal family and may possess other special abilities from their mother's side that we may not know about.

genetically, half shinigami-half quincy. power-wise, mostly half shinigami-half hollow. fullbring hardly counts since hes gone back to shinigami, and he doesnt really have any quincy powers yet. they were apparently "awakened" but ichigo's still pretty oblivious/cant use any.
