Ichigo
defeated a hollow at the time Rukia gave him shinigami powers, with no experience in sword fighting
defeated his first menos grande without learning how to use/control reiatsu or even getting a heads up on how to fight menos
defeated kenpachi by just connecting with his "zanpakto"
defeated Byakuya just after attaining bankai (no practice with bankai)
defeated Aizen by just pleading with his "zanpakto + hollow" to teach him final getsugatensho
defeated Zangetsu in the Muramasa arc by turning into a hollow
defeated grimmjow by wanting to protect
was at par with Ulquiorra by their second fight, without learning anything new or training
defeated Ulquiorra just by dieing and letting his hollow take over

These people have been around (and training) hundreds of years before he was even thought of, let alone born into the world. Imo that's just excessive bs, even though he's one of my favorite characters:p

What do you think?

lol at the bankai training part, did he defeat Zangetsu? no .. He just found the right sword
at the urahara training part, that's like the only place he trained.

He took training from vizards but lasted way longer than he had trained to last, when he fought against Grimmjow! Logic? no lol
training from fullbringer to awaken fullbring? not really

Ikkaku: You're geeewwwdd... Who's your master?
Ichigo: Well, I wouldn't call him my master, but Urahara-san did train me.
Ikkakau: Ura-ura-ha-urahara... HIM?!

Lulz! You do know why him and his dad had that kind of relationship (continue to fight each other both verbally & physically) they had prior to Ichigo becoming a Shiningami, right? It's because Isshin knew he would sooner or later need to protect himself from Hollows since he knew: the more he'd grow, the more his Reiatsu would develop leading more Hollows to target him. Hence Isshin built up his core strength by fighting him in the house, day-in; day-out. And if you comprehend life, you'd know that prior to Ichigo meeting Urahara, he only swung his sword hoping he'd beat any Hollows (anyone with a butterknife can do that :|) + he only "defeated" the Menos due to his incredible core strength which was aided by his Reiatsu.

Alright I'm going to break this down for you because it seems like you're hating on a character for no reason at all.

1) Ichigo was already trained in martial arts when he was young meaning he had quick reactions also you don't need to have pro sword skills to swing a sword downwards because if you actually paid attention to the series Rukia taught Ichigo how to fight after that and even then he was trained by Urahara.

2) Actually he defeated the Menos Grande thanks to his unusually high spirit pressure and again if you paid attention to the series he had no idea what he actually did or how to control his spiritual pressure.

3) Actually again he defeated Kenpachi because his Quincy powers stopped suppressing his Shinigami powers Ichigo's spiritual pressure has the potential to be way higher than Kenpachi, also the fight ended in a draw.

4) Uhm no wrong again, Ichigo's Bankai was not really something that needed training for all he showed in the fight was his superior speed nothing else and again if you paid attention to the series Ichigo would have lost even in Bankai if it wasn't for his Shinigami/Hollow powers saving him.

5) No he defeated Aizen after training 3 Months in his inner world with his Zanpaktou his Zanpaktou which was the combination of his Hollow/Shinigami and Quicny powers transferred it's power to Ichigo (Meaning that was Ichigo's full potential at the time) also he didn't defeat Aizen he would have lost if Urahara hadn't placed the sealing Kido before hand.

6) For one this is filler two it was Ichigo and his Shinigami/Hollow powers fighting his Quincy powers so I don't see how thats an asspull at all.

7) He wanted to protect his friends why wouldn't someone be stronger? All Shonen characters have this trait Naruto, Luffy etc...

8) He was on par with the 1st form of Ulquiorra because he had become stronger after his battle with Grimmjow not to mention he had become used to Ulquiorra's fighting style and again if you paid attention to the series Ichigo admitted Ulquiorra seemed a lot more human when fighting (Indicating he had become weaker)

9) His Shinigami/Hollow powers saved him again so what? it's no different from the Kyuubi constantly saving Naruto.

10) It's been established that Ichigo picks up things a lot quicker than any other when it comes to battles according to your logic everyone who's older should be stronger meaning you think Rukia should be stronger than Toshiro, Shunsui should be stronger than Aizen.

Anyway by the sounds of you're points it seems to me that you're lying about Ichigo being one of you're favorite characters because you think it will try justify your points when in fact it doesn't it just makes you look stupid. I don't know if you actually still follow Bleach but a lot of the points you made there have been answered by Kubo himself.

Now I could go on forever with all the BS pulls that Naruto has had but I'm not going to since in fact he is one of my favorite characters in Naruto and I think pointing out the BS pulls is an insult to his character.

Nice points there. lol! I'm not hating on the character, just pointing out some things that happened too quickly.
I stopped following bleach many episodes ago, I just thought I'd educate myself with a good discussion and fortunately you did the trick.=D:p

Ichigo is the type that learns from actual fighting. Fighting Ichigo a second time he'll be stronger if you fight him a third time he'll be on your level.

He already had the power to beat anyone but Zangetsu wanted to make him stronger by fighting and learning.
