[Discussion] Ichigo doesn't have quincy powers.

Why are people saying he has quincy powers, when its not even stated that he has a portion or some kind of quincy powers in him..

I think you guys need to reread. Juha Bach aka Fake-Zangetsu stated that he won't be surpressing anymore of Ichigo's powers. SHINIGAMI POWERS. Notice that Ichigo has never trained in the quincy way, he cannot attain quincy powers without training them.


Zangetsu focuses his conversation on him restricting Ichigo of his powers, and he didn't want him to succeed as a shinigami. However, over time he changed and was happy, and now he stopped suppressing that power Ichigo had inside of him.


Ichigo isn't gonna have Quincy and Shinigami power.. He is plain out going to have SHINIGAMI POWERS.


Ichigo having quincy and shinigami is = to Naruto have uchiha blood also.


The final fight will be Shinigami vs Quincy, (Ichigo vs Ishida)/. (atleast this is what is hinted at)

Shinigami and quincy, there really is no difference. Except the power source. Ichigo's power source is SHINIGAMI.... Doesn't matter if his mom was a quincy. He can't attain those powers without training them. FACT.

1. No false, the quincy powers he had came from the "quincy" Zangetsu that was inside him. He is nomore.. Ichigo is now a full shinigami. Its already been stated it was Zangetsu who was using quincy powers to protect Ichigo.. doesn't mean Ichigo has control over them.

2. Do you need everything to be spoon fed to you? First it was you not being able to understand durability, now you are asking when did it state you need to train to gain quincy powers? Oh I guess that fact that all quincies trained in the Quincy form fighting, doesn't mean anything.

Hollow powers are part of his shinigami powers mate. Manga fact. His source of "quincy power" disappeared also another manga fact.

No it was him being LENT quincy powers that stopped the bleeding against Kenpachi.... He doesn't have them anymore... because those quincy powers were restricting his "shinigami" powers.

Some of the power he used like the Black Getsuga Tensho was Shinigami/Hollow power. Even Ichigo said when he first started using that attack on his own he never knew how he was doing it, he just did it ever since he recalled in perspective that Hollow Ichigo used it. He never "Learned" how to use that Shinigami/Hollow attack". The Blue Getsuga Tensho was all Quincy power. His near blinding speed compared to everyone else using Shunpo was because of his Quincy lineage, they are a very agile race. Vasto Lorde Hollow Ichigo even exceeded the Hollow version of Shunpo against Ulqquira because of this.

Only difference is he is a shinigami not a quincy. He chose to become a shinigami.. not a quincy. Hence his quincy powers were only being lent to him by juha bach.

sorry but it doesn´t make sense. Juha Bach stated that Ichigo has awaken his Quincy powers. He hasn´t lose his Quincy power,
because he has two swords. The long sword repesents his hollow/Soul reaper power. And the smal one represents his quincy power.
