So far it seems Ichibee is taking this one. I'm curious to see what his sword is capable of :D

It will be close i think Captain commander takes it . Yama was only one who could take on Yhwach i see Ichibei losing to Yama in high diff.

I say Yamamoto, but It could change when we see full power of him.

Overall Yamamoto is more impressive.

Yamatomo wins here. He is the strongest character on bleach (was). He only got beaten because Ywach stole his bankai. Ichibe doesn't have that abilitie. If he touches Yamatomo's sword he is turned to ashes. If he touches Yamatomo's body he is turned to ashes. If he doesn't have a god-level defence he gets destroyed by Bankai-North.

yama is powerful, but that's mostly with his bankai. now i'm not saying that he is weak without it, just that against high tier opponents he needs his bankai. without it, we saw how he got one shotted by juha bach. now ichibe, we see he is outclassing juha without even using his shikai. at the end of the last chapter we see him activate his shikai for the first time. that means everything to that point was done with a paint brush that acts as a sealed zanpakuto, hokudo, and kido. plus you also have to remember what a fight between shinigami is as explained by aizen. a fight between shinigami is a fight between spiritual pressures. which for the most part extends to other beings who fight with reiatsu.

so, just going off of that, it's more than possible that ichibe would be able to cut yama's power in half. yama wouldn't be able to do jack $hit against that. i think ichibe outclasses yama. there is a reason this guy is head of the royal guard.

Definitely would be close. I wonder if Ichibei was one of the original members of the G13. If so then he probably loses because Yama was their leader. If he existed before that, then Ichibei might win.

Man, the Ichibei hype is ridiculous these days ( not that it's unwarranted). Needless to say this fight would be epic and Yamamoto would need his Bankai and all of it's abilities to keep his edge. And though Ichibei is quickly proving to be the most powerful individual in the Zero squad, I still believe that Yamamoto maintains his position as the strongest shinigami period.

Yama wins this with high difficulty.

Bach would have used Yama bankai if he felt the monk was really a threat thus far.

The monk hasn't even went Bankai and he's standing his ground (actually has the upper hand in some parts) against Bach. He is the head of shimigami for a reason after all

Yamaji would probably win extreme diff. Ichibei, from what we've seen so far, has to make contact with his opponent to half their power. His paintbrush would disintegrate before it could make full contact, just like Royd's sword, imo.

Perhaps we'll see more of Ichibei when he releases his Bankai.

Yamamoto without bankai gets wrecked by Juha Bach.
Ichibei without shikai is beating Juha Bach.

Until we see that Juha can one-shot Ichibei without bankai, I don't think we can say Yamamoto > Ichibei. Right now I think Ichibei is / will be stronger.

* Battle worn Yamamoto who didn't even used his shikai and didn't even try to fight back (which is logical, no point in attacking your bankai with your shikai ~As Nodt)

Battle worn? Yes. Didn't try to fight back and save his life? No.

No ones gonna just give up like that. And still you could say Juha wasn't full strength because he hadn't taken the power from most the sternritter yet.

My point is not about Yhwach's strengh but Yamamoto's.

When Yamamoto lost his zanpakuto in fight against Aizen, he still wanted to fight him with just bare hands, and said: "Fool, you think you can beat me with just sealing my zanpakuto". On the other hand when he lost his zanpakuto against Yhwach he dind't said anything similar to what he said to Aizen, nor he even tried to fight him back, he was just standing and talking to Yhwach and waited to be one shotted by him. I think he even deactivated his shikai at that time.

Yamamoto was the strongest shinigami. 0 division isn't an exception for his title.Though old Yamaji would lose against Ichibi.Zzz

I don't think Ichibi has upper hand against Bach and it is too early to make conclusions IMO. I am sure Bach'll troll Ichibi.
