Pretty short, and a LITTLE boring lol. But the next one is much more interesting.

Shinokai: Silver hair, blue eyes, carries a peculiar sword. Where is he!? I am not one to mince words with!
Civilian: I told you... (coughs up blood) I don’t know!
Shinokai pushed the hammer harder into his throat. He pulled the hood of his short cloak further down.
Shinokai: He passed here earlier, maybe today, you better remember it as if your life depended on it.
The horrified man thought, and finally remembered. There was a kid who passed here, he did some work for him so he gave the kid food for his journey to the Hidden Cloud. The man hated to rat the boy out, considering that this man seemed as though he wanted to kill someone, but there was no other alternative...

Riku continued to walk across the rocky path for what felt like hours. The trail was endless with mountains on either side of it that seemed to go on even longer. His food supply was just as low as his confidence. All he had was a few pieces of fruit that he obtained when he returned to Shinru’s place to pick up a few things. Now that he thought of it, it was a much more idiotic move than he had first guessed. And he only thought of it for a single reason, because it was all he dared to think? Even though he knew where he was going, he actually had no idea where it was. And every other thought simply pained him. Physically and mentally all the same. Where he was, why he was here, why he was alone... All of the questions he could imagine simply met each other at a single answer. The one he thought of as his father, was gone, and for all he knew, dead.
On that note, he decided to banish all thoughts and memories. Until he finally arrived at the Raikage’s door, he would only have one goal, survival.
He looked over the landscape, a few trees, but with no leaves, that were hidden among the mountains. On each side of him was a river that he constantly peeked in to find that there were no fish, so as a substitute, he simply knelt down beside it and drank the water after every few minutes. He agreed with himself on taking a short rest after about 3 more hours. He figured that there was no rush. That man... Tenzu he believed his name was... had to be far behind him at this point, if he was even following.
A while later, Riku knelt down besides the river, assuming that it had been 3 hours, he sat Soul Eater down, and after drinking an abundance of water, he did the best he could to clean it off. He looked to the left to see that the mountainous trail ended and converged into a small, jungle-like area. He supposed that he should take some water with him, should he be forced to part with the river. He took the small pouch that held a few kunai and put the two kunai under the small braces on each of his arms. He looked up and then walked into the jungle, or maybe more of an oasis considering the dry, desert-like area that surrounded it. He sheathed Soul Eater inside of the scabbard that hung from his waist. Knowing little of the dark eyes that followed him throughout every step he took.
Walking into the forests, Riku took note of the poisonous plants around being sure to watch out for more. Shinru had told him much about plants as if he was Zetsu, one of the members of Akatsuki who, like so many others, hadn’t been recognized or feared until after his death, himself. Riku constantly stopped to note the environment before he continued walking, trying to be as cautious as possible.

Shikonai put up his arm, allowing his hawk to rest down on his forearm. He had been following the boy since he was half way through the mountains. Once he went into the forest, there wasn’t much elevation for him to use to his advantage, he couldn’t risk being caught until the moment was right. His eyes narrowed as the hawk told Shikonai of how precautious his prey was being. The dark bounty hunter gripped his left hammer and slipped it out of its respective sheathe. It was time...
~
Riku continuously cut through the vines fluently with the help of Soul Eater. He
sidestepped for easier movement making his swipes nearly effortless. After the last few vines, the landscape was almost like a desert. Simply barren. It was basically a rocky wasteland. He looked up to see crows flying in a circular way which lowered his confidence by a gargantuan amount. Something about the crows captivated him though. There was... something... that made him keep staring.
The crows continued to circle in the sky until they all converged into a giant sphere blocking the sun in an eclipse-like fashion. The land was filled with complete darkness. From the dark circle, all Riku could see was the countless feathers. They suddenly started to fall from every last bird. Riku suddenly remembered the genjutsu Tenzu placed him in, and thought that it would be best to move. But he couldn’t. Something, or someone, was stopping him from moving. The feathers all fell and once they were but a few inches from Riku’s eyes. He could finally see that they were not feathers, but countless senbon. And after he saw what they were, all feeling left from him and he could only see the splatter of blood. And then, nothing.
