First of all, screw you. Barney is nearly not that old. Cane? Madness. Second of all, I don't have an Ice bio at the moment. Barney used to have the ice KG but he's part of the Binkan CC now. But for the purpose of the training, that doesn't matter. Tell me the usual stuff about the element at hand. What is ice, how it's achieved and its advantages and disadvantages.-Reporting for duty sensei
Coming upon a lake she see an old man with a walking cane sitting with it out in front of him.Snow falling all around him signifying the use of the hyouton kekkai genkai.Lyanna walk towards him until she is but 5 meters away and kneels awaiting for his command.
Members of the Yukigakure were only able to manipulate snow. Not quite the same as being able to produce ice. You're right about the composition of ice though. In fact, Ice release is neutral to fire. The fire has the ability to melt ice but the water from the melted ice dampens the fire, which makes them neutral to each other. Ice is strong to wind because the wind cools it down and it has double the advantage over water because it can freeze it. It's however weak to earth and lightning because they can shatter and destroy the ice with ease. One of the main disadvantages that you didn't mention is the so famous sound of ice. One can easily know that an ice technique is forming by listening and paying attention. It produces this crackling sound that is easily distinguishable.-giggles-
Any how moving on
Ice release is a gekki kenkai belonging to the shinboi of the Yuki clan or the shinobi of some fodder village(yukigakure isnt it) the main difference is that the yuki bloodline members can form it simply using their chakra where as the village shinobi require snow to mold their jutsu.
Ice release is composed of two element those being wind and water. The water is the Base of their jutsu. They then add wind release chakra to the water making it so cold that it freezes near instantaneously.
Elemental wheel
Good against
Ice release is good against fire due to both wind and water already having stength to it.I think ice is double strong.
Wind is nuetral same with water due to making the ice.
Earth and lightning weak against due to piercing nature of both elements
There is one that has a double weakness but i forget.
Advantages
Ice release has several advantages over other elements and sub elements. One being that it is so flexible allowing for many cj to be made.Another is that because of its make -up its neutral or strong to a fair few elements and sub elements.
Disadvantages
Ice while seemingly strong does however have several problems associated with it.The chakra gives of a unique color/feeling when generating allowing opponent especially doujutsu wielders the chance to predict the fact your using ice element and think up a counter as such.It is also difficult to pull off close range attacks due to it being a technically mid-long range gekkai genkai.
OOC: Yes sorry for spelling of bloodline release in japanese. All of the info is from the top of my head if you need more please let me know and i'll go look it up.
Performing ice chakra.
Lyanna sits upon the lake with her legs in lotus position. With her eyes closed to give better focus on her chakra control. She starts to slowly release water chakra through all her tenketsu into the air around her.She then slowly splits the chakra being outputted into one half water and begins to introduce the wind chakra into the air around.Cooling the moisture she created around her causing snow to fall at a slow slow rate.
Well, you can get used to that when you're told to.None just in others they've always told me to perform the gathering of chakra and mainly for me to get used to describing in depth stuff again due to my long...very long time away.+ just all-round bored while waiting for a LoL game![]()
I agree with that, but KGs also shouldn't be swapped lightly. Rarely, people swap them because it doesn't fir their style, but most of the time people do it just because they can and want to, which is sad. Hopefully, you'll be able to stick with it for a longer period after the training. After my first month of RPing, back in early 2011, I made my ice bio and I have used it ever since. Recently I dropped my ice for a CC, but I'm trying to get ice back now. Just giving you an idea of how serious I am about ice.The thing that made me submit an Ice release bio is the diversity of it.Unlike other kgs which i have posses over my time here Ice is probably the next most flexible with only paper coming close to it.As displayed by haku their is alot of uses that are not just for offense such as traveling from mirror to mirror as a form of transportation or etc. In addition it was just to learn something new really as well.KG training is often more easy to come upon that than the generic 4 (nin, gen, tai, kenjutsu).
Alright then.Understood. I think that i had paper or puppets for the longest as i just found it more fun i suppose. They didnt have as much restrictions either.
