Catching the Ice in her right hand Kanu grips it tightly in front of her chest and stares down at her hand, her breath remains calm and steady as she speaks.
"I've actually been practicing this, nothing like a cold bath to finish a day. The full body numbness is just what one needs to drown out the stresses of a hard day don't you agree? The cooling liquid, all over your naked body, not a nook or cranny goes unrested."
Finishing her sentence Kan'u averts her eyes and looks up at her teachr with a soft smile on her face, she then opens her hand and allows the remaining water to trickle from her grasp. Turning to her right she walks a couple of paces forwards and places her pinkened palm against the solid ice face, appearing to stare at the substance she begins talking once again.
"Ice is in layman's terms the solid form of water. When water meets it's freezing point it solidifies and becomes the cold substance we know as Ice. It is made up of the water and wind elements, using water as the base we then chill it with wind chakra, thus freezing the water and creating ice. Its main use comes from freezing other materials and in some cases, people. Ice release finds its advantages against Water release (double effective) and wind release, the two elements that go into creating Ice in the first place. It is weak against Earth and lightning. Some specific sound frequencies are also known to break ice much like they do any crystalline based element."
Removing her palm from the wall of the dome she blows gently on her palm and begins to to clench and unclench her fist at a steady pace, allowing the feeling to return to her hand slowly. She then winks at her reflection in the Ice and turns back to the man.
"Sorry, that was rude of me. I should look at you whilst I speak, not at myself. How was that?"

*Hands you 2 white leaves*
These is Chakra Paper. they react to the 5 elements. When water chakra is applied, the leaf should become soaked with water. I want you to meditate on your water chakra while holding the leaf in you hand to ake it soak.

Hold the leaf in between any two of your fingers in your right hand.
Now I know you've done this before, but you have never done it at the same time while trying to channel another element in the other hand.
With the second white leaf, I want you to hold it in your other hand between two of your fingers while channeling Wind chakra into it. The leaf should split straight down the middle.
Now, I dont want you to do this one at a time, but at the same time. The leaf should be soaked just as the other one is cut. Don't worry. If you dont get it right on the first try, simply take more chakra paper from the Ice bin to your left.

Grabbing one piece of paper in either hand Kan'u clenches her fists tightly and turns her head slightly to her left in order to face her left hand, as she breaths she blows on the back of her left hand, allowing her to get the sensation of wind in one hand allowing her to easily build up that same sensation inside her chakra. As she concentrates on her left hand gathering wind she allows her natural instinct to take over her right hand, as a regular user of water release she has become extremely familiar with creating this chakra in her palm and believes that by concentrating on the wind she will be able to do both with ease. As she opens her palms the chakra paper in her right hand is visibly darker than before and is stuck tight to her palm as the mass amounts of water absorbed by the paper leave it soaked, she smiles before changing her gaze to the left. Floating above her palm is a full piece of chakra paper, although wind chakra was evident by the papers actions the desired effect had not been achieved.
"Damn it!"
As she shouts this she grabs her halberd and spins it in her right hand cutting the paper into three pieces as it floats down to the ground. She then digs the blade back in the earth and grabs two more pieces of chakra paper. In her right hand she concentrates on the flow of her chakra, keeping it steady and calm as it flows through her arm like a river. n her left hand she concentrates on the speed of the chakra flow, gradually thinning the chakra into what is a wire like consistency. Now for your very first Ice Technique.
As this technique has multiple purposes, there are different ways to go about this. These will be our first few posts to get you used to replying.
Ok. So one of the first functions of Ice Release Technique is making simple small weapons.
1st. *Tosses you a kunai*
I want you to look at this kunai while holding it in your left hand, examine it thoroughly and try to use your hyouton chakra and shape manipulation to form an exact copy of it in your right hand.
2nd.
This is not the only weapon that you can form from this technique. You can also make staffs, small fans, and other objects. (You do not have to do this, it pretty much the same as forming an ice kunai except you shape manipulate it into that object.
3rd.
Making a pillar that has the same function as an Earth Style Technique Pillar. I want you to channel your chakra into the ground and try to force a small ice pillar to rise out of it. It is up to you whether you want the pillar to push you straight upwards, forwards, backwards, or even sideways.
4th.
Making it snow. Send your hyouton chakra into the air. Stir your chakra into the clouds, freezing the water within them and then make it snow all across the terrain. This part of the technique is handy as a terrain changer as well as allowing you to form your techniques from it which allows you to do it quicker and more efficiently (As long as it doesn't come from your body).
I would like you to use this template every time you reply to a technique.
Try to be as detailed/descriptive as possible. All you have to do is copy the PHP code.
Also, I will post how all of the techniques work. I want you then, in your own words, to describe to me what you are doing to get the desired result.

I begin by taking the kunai as instructed, with the kunai in my left hand I replicate the grip of my left hand with my right, from this position I begin to release Hyouton chakra from my right hand, aiming to recreate the kunai in my left hand out of ice. As a solid block of ice begins to from in my right hand I turn my concentration to it, shaping it so that it grows outwards slight before becoming narrower and narrower forming itself into a sharp point. When the kunai is fully formed I use the actual knife to sharpen the new knife blade before driving both into the ground in front of me.
As I drive the kunai into the ground I think back to my earth training and channel Ice chakra into the earth below me, using shape manipulation once more I force a small pillar of Ice to rise slowly from the ground (slowly in order to show the control I have over the rising pillar). As the pillar rises I release my grip of the two kunai and place them onto the ice still rising beneath me, putting myself into a handstand position as I am lifted into the air.
Whilst upside down I begin to channel Hyouton chakra into the air around myself, the chakra heads into the clouds above and freezes the water molecules that form the fluffy white floaters above, this affect then causes it to snow, as the snow fulls I allow myself to fall back into an upright position at which point I curtsy and catch some snowflakes on my tongue.
Strong points
One could use this technique in combination with itself, firstly the user would use the technique to make it snow relatively powerfully. Once it's snowing the user can creates thin blades of ice, almost undetectable through the snow as it travels camouflaged against the white backdrop.
Another strategy could be to use this technique alongside a fire technique. Firstly the user would throw a block or weapon of ice, once it reaches short-range of the opponent they use a fire release technique in order to melt the ice, the ice would then turn to water and splash into the opponents eyes, blinding him momentarily.
Ways to counter:
Wouldn't necessarily say this is counter-able as it is such a versatile technique and counters would depend on how this technique was used. Although fire release is a sure fire victory.
